@Midnight Movie Man CONFIDENT? She fired her PR team because of them lol! Edit: One you come off as massively condescending and two, Depp has already won this case... do you really think he cases about 50mill? No! He just wants to clear his name and he's already done that in the public eye regardless of the outcome of the case... I wasn't going to say anything but then I re-read your post and decided I had to being you back down to earth...😁

What he says about a partner acting like the abusive parent you grew up with and making you feel like you’re a small kid again even though you’re grownup now…He’s definitely putting the words right to describe that feeling and it’s very relatable if you’ve ever been in the same situation. I have to say, I am so impressed by how JD handles himself. Even tempered, never over reacting, speaking carefully. Even the most scurrilous accusation is met with calm and a steady attempt to explain his text or comments which AH's lawyers are throwing out in hopes of ensnaring JD. Hours of this. Incredible. I am sure the process affects him quite deeply.

I feel so much for him going through this again at his age when he already went through it as a child. I find it so hilarious and extremely satisfying that they try to cherry pick single messages and few seconds of audio recordings from here and there and act like they are devastating pieces of evidence of him being abusive. Yup, I remember having similar boyfriend like Amber, he would bring the worst things out of me I felt panic a lot, I felt trapped a lot, I couldn't stop the fights I couldn't leave cause he wouldn't let me, it would bring me to trying to forcefully leave and punching his chest (he was much much taller), if someone would've witnessed that, I would've been accused of domestic violence. but I remember panicking I feeling trapped and I had to go away from him I wanted to leave but he was preventing me from leaving he would stand in the doorway he was quite big, tall, much taller than me, wife shoulders, 100kg, when he stood in the doorway it was impossible to go past him. and he would just talk and talk and fight and berate and belittle and blame, it was so miserable I completely forgot how it felt because it was a loong time ago, but these things I'm hearing, it brought it all up

I often say I want to punch people when I'm angry at them. I say it about my dog too. I would never in a million years actually punch anyone, especially not my dog. Mostly because I wouldn't cope with being on trial or sent to prison, but also because eew I don't want someone's face all over my hand, and I also sometimes have this weird dream where I go to punch someone and my hand opens up like a blooming flower where the first used to be and just kind of... face hugs them? I don't genuinely believe this would happen if I was to punch at someone, but you never know. Best not to find out, that would be quite embarrassing.

Amber broke the first and second bottles. Once his finger was gushing blood, yes he got angry! Blood was spurting with each heartbeat, so there was no stopping that . He started writing on the wall with it to accentuate the absurdity. Once he was gone to the hospital, and that recording was to be turned off, she got her lipstick and wrote,” Carly said it better, babe” ( referring to a song maybe “You’re So Vain”?) He denies urinating in the home.The security head, guessed with the broken mirrors, stained carpet, and damage wallpaper, that it was one-hundred-thousand dollars. The owners would have no financial responsibility. Depp, I imagine paid for it.

You are clearly young, and haven't been in one of these relationships yet. If you end up in one, having others call you "sick" just means they are completely ignorant of how complicated relationships can be. There's nothing "sick" about being trapped in an abusive relationship, but there IS something sick about you calling his pain "sick." One thing is for certain: you are no Jedi Master. Grow up.

This is all exactly the same as he went through. There were people who thought he was crazy because of the drugs doctors prescribed. It was all sick, sad, disgusting. This is like reliving all of his pain... He would draw all over the walls going cold turkey while i went away for a week..i had no idea. It was truly awful. i recognized that when i first heard it. famous Monty Python sketch about judging a woman a witch. In the movie it was determined that they first had to prove she was a witch. They could burn her, but if she could burn like wood they could try to drown her... and if she were really a witch she would float not drown etc. It's a funny skit. The only thing Johnny and Paul left out was "She turned me into a brute! (original movie script was newt not brute).

I am so, SO pleased that Johnny mentioned the link between his texts and Monty Python's humour, including the inspiration from / nod to the famous 'witch trial' sketch/scene. I really hope that the jury take this totally on board for what it IS, as RottenBone's attempt to spin these as some kind of planned/pre-meditated dark murderous desires, is utterly ridiculous...

I've never seen Monty Python, it feels like it would be similar to Mighty Boosh and I don't find Noel Fielding funny at all, but even I knew the burn and drown her thing was implying she's a witch. It's a real thing that really happened to real people who were suspected of being witches. They teach it in schools. It's very strange to me that he had to explain it at all.
@denisevans213

@@mydogeatspuke Absolutely agree, thank you - AH's lawyer acted like he'd got damning evidence, drawing out, and seemingly relishing in the slow, calculated 'reveal' of the assumedly 'damning' evidence (and pointedly, omitting/stopping just before the important and COMPLETELY context-changing one where the witch test is THEN mentioned) - "oh, but you didn't stop THERE, did you, Mr Depp? You go on to say, blah blah" - the worst of it, is that there is NO WAY, imho, that RB didn't know this titbit of essential information, regarding the link between the texts and their inspiration for the banter/spoof. Borderline (okay, VERY) deceitful and underhanded, to my mind.
