We are also glad that the video brought back some great memories for you, The Broads is a beautiful place and we can imagine that it has changed over the last 35 years. We were also surprised with the relative lack of boats for that time of year - maybe your theory is correct! Yes, your are right, you now need a bridge pilot to navigate both Wroxham and Potter Heigham - although sadly we've never had a boat with an airdraft that would allow us to pass under, but maybe in the future; I have always wanted to explore the river beyond both bridges. We never knew that the moorings at St Bennett's have also been extended over the years. We agree, you definitely do need to visit again soon - you never, we might see you on The Broads in the near future! Take care

Don't worry about Breydon Water (as we were at first); it is absolutely fine and you cannot really go wrong if you contact Great Yarmouth Yacht Station before crossing so you get the tide-times right, the staff there are really helpful. Which boat are you going on in September? We might even see you! Yes we completely agree, we both thought what it might have been like if they moored next to us, thank goodness they didn't (but we feel sorry for the people that did :P) - great idea about deploying the drone! :D - Take care

@@twomenandaboat8681 hi , we are on one of the Brinks Electric Hybrids, I'm interested in how quiet it will be . Has some good points like hearing wildlife, but on the downside you can't hear the engine revs so only indication of speed is the digital screen

Hi Mark! Thanks for your comment. We use a GoPro 9 and a DJI Pocket 2 as our main boat/walk-about cameras and the drone we use is the DJI Mini 2. Hope this helps and good luck with your channel!
