Here I was thinking she was just a crazy old git, but here she didn't have anything for Gunston to be 'versus' against. In fact, the opposite; if only Whitehouse's legacy was in keeping with her words of conclusion here, the world would be a less shitty place.

Exactly. It was a bang-up fine performance from her. Zero problems with what she said. You could tell Gunston was floundering, trying to get a bite. Didn't happen.

@@hanajinks1044 I'll tell you how. She was nothing more than a stuck up toffee nosed old toad who seemed to think she had the right to pick and choose what was and wasn't suitable for home viewing. Because of her and her retarded small army of snowflakes many films were either banned or heavily censored some of which still remain banned or heavily censored to this day which is unfair on the people who put time, money and effort into making these films. Not to mention the people who enjoy such entertainment. The simple solution is if you don't like on screen violence or foul language or sex or whatever then simply steer clear of the kind of films and TV programmes that consist of such content. No need to f**k it up for everyone else.

I think what happened was she was used to very serious interviews, was wrong-footed by the cleaning up the airwaves joke right off the bat, then tried to cover her confusion by saying she didn't understand his Aussie accent. As a result her bluff came off as sounding pompous. Once she twigged, relaxed and started dishing it back, she came across alright I thought.
