Idk about Arro, it felt odd how even though he has 4 children, he said he wanted more kids because they live far away, as if children are interchangeable and having more kids would replace or make up for his relationship with the other ones. Kind of glad he was buzzed out.

I’m a mom and thought the same thing. Depending on his custody setup, he might also become their full time guardian again should anything happen to the kids mom (hospitalization, being held in jail, serious disability, death, etc). It’s foolish to not plan ahead when you have that many kids. I just have one (another on the way) and he’s a lot of work.

I think they should add a second button that is the opposite of the regular button--basically to say you've found the person you want to go on a date with and you're risking it all on this person vs trying to see who comes next. This button is lit at all times. If both people feel the same way, they'll go for the button at the same time and they'll automatically win a second date--but if only one person hits the button at any point, they're BOTH eliminated for the whole rest of the episode.

@@letterborneVods I was more suggesting that it's a risk-it-all button, so if you both press it at once you win right then and there, but if you don't both press it, you both get eliminated (both the button-presser and the non-presser). It would basically just up the stakes of rejection or trying to figure out what the other person is going to do. Maybe it is unnecessarily cruel, but so is The Button as a whole. It'd be pretty on-brand in my opinion.

I get Brie, I’ve got autism, cPTSD & PTSD, and permanent nerve damage so I’m mostly housebound/bedridden disabled with mobility issues. I totally get her saying “no” to someone else who has their own issues, you dunno how much you’ll mesh, or if it’ll end badly, you both might struggle with each other’s mental struggles, and being open, honest and empathetic about these struggles massively helps others because you’re viewing them as a person, being respectful and saying “I don’t know if my mental instability would be unhealthy for your mental instability, and I’d rather not risk your mental health.” It’s the adult conversation to have where you try and figure that stuff out, maybe it would work, only time would tell, it’s just one of those things! If I found a woman I wanted to date I actually wouldn’t expect her to have to deal with my mental and physical health all the time on top of her own well-being and happiness, I’m on a lot of meds, mostly bedridden, you’d essentially be my carer whilst trying to be romantic, so I’d respect someone saying “sorry, no, we wouldn’t be healthy for each other”

I understand not wanting to date someone with a mental illness- especially behavioral ones. While its definitely wrong to judge people to based on that alone or get assumptions about them- depending on the severity of the illness it can be difficult. As someone with depression- I feel like I couldnt date somebody else with it. If you had a past bad or abusive partner with a mental illness- somebody with the same ones may have similar mannerisms or episodes that would be too upsetting to date.

This is a super refreshing and nuanced take. I have severe depression myself, and I would never be upset at someone who said that was a dealbreaker. Health issues of any kind can complicate a person's life, and not everybody is equipped or willing to handle that - and that's fine. Personally, I don't think I could ever have a successful relationship with someone with ADHD. My ex has it, and being with her was a very traumatic experience. I couldn't feel 100% safe around someone who reminded me of her, regardless of if that was fair or rational. And, even if I moved past that, forgetfulness and distractibility get under my skin very easily. Which, all things considered, does not make me an ideal partner for someone with ADHD anyway.

As someone who has a long history of over sharing- I learned the hard way it’s never a good idea. Even forgetting about how it can turn people away from you, the REAL problem is it turns the wrong people to you. People that freely talk about their mental illnesses to basically complete strangers are vulnerable, unstable people. That draws in only people who are looking to exploit somebody. Anybody else will walk away because they see someone who can not handle their issues themselves, and therefore they aren’t a good candidate to be a friend or a lover. Not speaking from a place of judgement, I have been there. And I’ve been abused because of it. That’s all I have to say 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yep. It can make things tricky when you're currently in recovery from a mental illness or traumatic event, because, in those situations, you're often very isolated and might only have relative strangers to reach out to to begin with. But it's certainly not a good way to form any healthy friendships or find a real support network. You sort of have to brave through the lonely part for a while, until you actually do get close enough to someone for it to be acceptable and safe to open up.

As someone with Bipolar this is such a relatable experience. Because of the stigma around Bipolar people will often reject you as a friend, lover, ext. just because of that. I can understand that it’s sometimes because of the fact it can be hard to deal with for a partner, but it’s still very hurtful because obviously people with bipolar are people with other aspects about them besides their disorder.

you are genuinely one of the best youtubers, and I love how you addressed the woman’s response to Moose. As someone with adhd myself, among other things, dealing with the manic episodes colliding is actually a very valid point and seeing you recognize that brought about a whole other level of peace. I have Bipolar 1 and I tell whomever will listen about it. Because I live a pretty normal life on medicine. I've learned to tell my family "I am feeling this way, it's not rational, I need space, I need hugs, I need sleep, I need whatever." Them knowing what's going on and what you need will go miles. Bipolar people can have loving and fruitful relationships.

am i the only one who felt weird when the guy said he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and the woman responded "I have ADHD and I don't know how my mania would mesh with yours"? Mania is not a symptom of ADHD, although bipolar can be comorbid with ADHD. I think she just misspoke and meant that her symptoms might clash with his, but I felt like it was an important thing to clarify. (I'm autistic/ w ADHD, there was a strong chance of me being bipolar through genetics but it's been ruled out because I don't have manic episodes)

Im bipolar and alot of times I hear harmful rhetoric or opinions about it. I was really relieved with and respected how you talked about it. Really showed me the level of empathy and care you have about the things you talk about. (i feel like i have to say that the videos i’m talking about are about shitty people or things that just are never good to hear about but it’s important to me to learn about these thing so i’m more aware of our world) the way you approach your videos makes us all feel good about ourselves and i hope you continue growing your channel because with content like this you will go very far. from one person to another, thanks for making me feel better about myself.

Cooper, I’m always happy seeing the different trains of thought you have, especially when it’s completely valid like talking about Henry Caville, because the journey on these different roads is part of the fun! We’ll get to the destination eventually, but we’re gunna have 20 pit stops along the way! That’s how my autist brain works, so I’m totally used too it! The Henry thing is hella creepy, he’s revered as an untouchable god because “hurr hurr he gamer”, whilst at the same time folk trash on Leonardo. It’s just weird how one is given a pass for this weird behaviour, it’s not difficult for a GROWN MAN to just not get involved with literal TEENS.
@hana0647
@hana0647 Жыл бұрын
i also love how copper talks about his thought trains, but the reason people don’t talk abt henry cavill as much as Leonardo dicaprio is because dicaprio is has done it multiple time and that made him known for breaking up with them when they hit 25 but henry cavill dated a 19 year old once when he was 33 and he said the whole age is just a number quote was taken a bit out of context. that’s why people don’t talk about it as much
@ltchip2593
@ltchip2593 Жыл бұрын
Leonardo has been shown to repeatedly to do go after younger women due to being younger, in my opinion thats much different than henry due to it being to my knowledge a one time thing and she is now his wife if i recall. Its a difference in intentions. A person dating someone much younger than them once is much different than actively seeking younger women for each relationship and actively stating its your preference to have younger women.
@hana0647
@hana0647 Жыл бұрын
@@kelsiekraft5714 he won’t start getting called a creep because his relationship right now isn’t with the 19 year old. this was a situation back in 2016 and it happened once, Leonardo dicaprio has done this with women under the age of 25 about 14 time and that doesn’t even include when they have like a 15 year gap but the the women are like 27. that’s why leo has a bad rep and henry doesn’t
