Source was at IHOP-KC for nearly 20 years, first as a student, then on staff.
When are these leaders going to resign and repent?

Double depressing with whip-cream on top. Why? Because in all likelihood there has been hundreds of slave labor $100 a month stipend servants who would speak publicly in a more humble godly true way, but would absolutely NOT be allowed by the leadership to speak because to allow them a platform might threaten Bickle’s black hobby horse of insecurity.

I'm certain this re-branding will be the same white washed cup but inside the cup is filthy. Imagine requiring private jet to speak at a conference and if the bible is read at all, talk about the life of Jesus or Paul who were mostly poor, gave much of what they had to others, being beaten almost to death along with many other afflictions. They had to either walk many miles on dirty dusty roads or sail in boats. Not too much glamour there. And on top of it others like us pay your way. Despicable.

Off topic. I knew a guy mid fifties who dated a twenty year old for a year or so. We tried to tell him how nuts it was. The thing is is he convinced himself we were all jealous. Everyone that knew him thought it gross. Deep deep dysfunction.

So 20 years of Christian prayer was time wasted? That's how you would characterize it in hindsight? Where was your heart focused during this period? Better perhaps to quit lamenting over this idolatrous fixation identified here as the 'movement'. Or is this a confession of sorts that it was never ever even remotely about Jesus from the get-go? The leaders are prima facie scoundrels. That's clear. What the followers need to ask themselves imo is whether they were in fact out-and-out duped or whether they played some kind of knowingly complicit role? What was TRULY going through their hearts during this period as only they can testify for sure?That's a tougher question to ask, esoecially as it may yield even darker answers.

Bickle was simply another in a long line of false preachers (Todd Bentley, Todd White, TD Jakes, et al) whose gullible disciples are victims of Charismatic stargasms. /Maranatha

He only admitted to having KISSED Jane Doe #1 in the 80’s ?? He asked for her forgiveness (probably just impulsive--you remember that one coach who kissed his daughter on the lips and people were upset about that. Except for people who had kids. Children just do that.) Anyway--he asked her for forgiveness immediately after it happened. She must have forgiven him because she worked for him for TWENTY YEARS after that. The other girl, Tammy Woods was his babysitter in the 80’s. My understanding is that there was a criminal investigation of Mike because he picked her up to babysit for his kids AND THEY WERE ALONE IN THE CAR. Then sometimes he’d pull the car over and talk to her about Jesus. I think the problem is that people believed the Roy’s Reports about Mike and IHOPKC. But if you go back and re-read what she wrote, you can see the inconsistencies and see how manipulative the article are. So Tammy Woods supposedly went to the cops. Idk what ever become of it. Also of note: The MeToo people are involved in all this. The Kansas City Star ran an article on it. Julie Roy’s never wrote about that that I’m aware of. My personal belief is that these women who claim to be victims aren’t really victims. I graduated high school in 1984. It was a different time back then. In my opinion, there’s no way someone is suffering today from PTSD because they were kissed in the 80’s. I think Julie Roy’s is working with MeToo and the AG to shake down Mike and IHOPKC for money. And now IHOPKC is losing $500K per month because size of all this. I think Mike Bickle could countersue because he’s losing and has lost so much. Including his reputation. He should be compensated for that. And he lost everything with NO PROOF, just accusations.
