Still working my way out of the woods, and its hard to see light thru the trees. 7y ago this coming September, wrecked my first bike ever ‘99gsxr600, 3rd day ever riding. Bike landed on me and sliced +-20feet of intestines out. 10cm more id have a colostomy bag. Shorter-ish version, saw myself lying there, as i rose to pure white light, ultimate peace and serenity, weight of the world lifted from my being, and none of it mattered. 3 Angels were there, and i had a conversation with God, though i never grew up in church. He asked if i wanted to stay, or return (to life). I started crying “no, please, i can’t die, i can’t leave my mother like this.” Had been too long since we spoke, she was in a dark place in her life, single mom and i’m her only child. How fkd up would that be? Had barely spoken to her son in forever, then get a call your only son died sorry boutchyu. God said “It won’t be easy, you’ll endure ___, ___, ___, (i forget) but I’ll be with you every step.” Was sobbing at that point “Please i’ll do anything, endure anything, i can’t leave her without saying goodbye.” Right after, i snapped awake on the mountain still crying “no please i can’t die not like this-“. Some young guy was there said “ambulance is on its way, you’re going to be ok, you look great (🤔 with my guts splayed open? Ok). Story is guy who found me saw dust in the air, got a weird feeling, stopped his car, and walked to find me out of sight from the road. On a “weird feeling?”...🤔mmk. The scar is shaped like a cross too. Ok ok, i get the message. Used to be 195Lb, played baseball, active fit and healthy, but never had or cared about a 6pack. Week in the ICU, cpl weeks in the hospital. Lost 80Lb in 80 days. At the lowest, was a 117Lb shadow of who i was, and sunken in cheeks made me look like a drug addict. Had no insurance, and after the hospital saw no doctors, no rehab for exploded knee, no digestive specialists, no blue parking, no pain pills, no disability, just work, faith, more blessings than i can count or remember, and a few well timed hands up from genuine souls who didn’t have to. I have no idea how I survived the first few years, zero. I spend 24/7 hungry, food is often pain, and i barely absorb carbs protein or fats. I absorb them 80% less since lost 80% guts. Way too often i’ve wished i never survived. Or after i got to say bye, was ready for my time to be up. Been stabbed in the back while my back was against the wall by people i didn’t expect, in the least opportune time. Wtf bro, its been fkall hard, heavy, isolating, and relentless. But life goes on, can’t cry over spilled guts. Besides, there’s no crying in baseball! Now i look at it as the best thing that happened to me, had to summon mental strength i had no idea existed. 95% of people with Short Gut Syndrome are on disability, can’t work, ER every other week for rehydration IV’s. Ha! My comments about my recovery get deleted from this group, because its offensive to the i can’t crowd. Have owned 3 faster bikes since, ride mostly like this vid, but between bikes now, covid was a kick in the crotch. Sorry for the book, but thank you 🙏🏼, sincerely. You never know what someone is going through, but your words hold more weight than you intended. It is appreciated.

@@shriek_howl21 thank you for the kind words. I only have one video of me riding. Was maybe with a month experience, the x took a vid of a flyby onto the highway. Thats the only vid i have of me riding, and viewing it now i can see my inexperience and lack of skill in body position. Can tell i was a straight up rookie. 😳 i can’t believe you saw the vid of me in college rallying the subaru 🤣. Ohhh man i had so much alcohol weight on me then, FSU is a ridiculous party school, and i used to bartend so the debauchery was excessive. Poor Apollo, may he rest in peace, he passed April 24, 2019. After the wreck qualified him as a service dog. Thats a cool vid, have him walking into a bar with no leash, heeling perfect. What a stud i miss him. I’ll upload them later this evening. Thankfully the short and intermediate term future looks bright, and i should be able to make it back onto 2 wheels sometime sooner or later here. Regardless, thank you Gajendra, the reason i will go to lengths to tell my story, is that i hope it can provide a positive impact or perspective for someone out there.

especially the r version braided brake lines ohlins suspension front and rear and brembos on a stock bike and it being a 3 cylinder giving it abit more torque compared to the other inline 4s in the same category where you have to rev it out more to keep it in the power band, makes the daytona 675r a spicy track bike in the 600cc category

@@mint_au oh for sure! Mine was an R and I loved it to death. Even tracking/racing it, it was by far the most competitive and reliable track bike I ever owned. I'd buy another if parts didn't become harder and harder to get/find.

@@RagingDage my dads had one as his main track bike for 3 something years and lvoes it only problem hes having now is it keeps bogging down in high rpm and nothing wrong with fuel or air isssues so tracking down other potential problems at the moment but other than that he came from vfr400 track bikes and wanted something abit more modern and more power and swears by it as the quickest around corners hes ever gone on a bike

@@alexventrov6826 if that was true this guy would already be dead, it's called not scared of meeting you Maker and most of us been riding since we was tall enough to hold the bike up,l I was maxing out my kx500 when I was thirteen,it was a tall bike I would hang off one side if I had to stop I looked like a little ten year old on a big ass two stroke with power band 1 thru five flat out like I am one with the bike it's just natural for guys who been riding fast bikes since we were young too ride a little risky, I love taking corners layed down til my knee is ready to catch pavement, I don't care how warm them tire's are once you get a little round rock when you're down that far usually gonna loose it unless you lucky and can hold it,most people end up high siding because they got too comfortable and arnt hugging the bike right I've wrecked every kind of way when I was learning I took corners too fast and I've ended up in incoming lane's thank Jesus nobody was in the uncoming lane's or I would have probably been dead years ago, like I said I was young, I had a paper rout and a really good buddy who had a bike shop, most people just couldn't believe how Young I was and little and some of the bike's I road were huge like I started out on a big enduro bike it was a yamaha two stroke but no power band,it had plenty of power and was faster than most harley's and as heavy as a harley, I just loved being on two wheels there's nothing like cranking as fast as you can, I love the rush and if I ever crash the way I ride more than likely gonna be a closed casket, I still get the jitters when I get on my bike once I rolling it goes away,fear is what keeps us alive knowing when to let off, I can't I always make the other guy let off first or we both gonna die fuck it, I have wrecked hard, once I hit the forks and handlebars with my junk and it turned my shit black for like three weeks,the worst way to crash is when the bike stops instantly and your body keeps going I thought I ripped my shit off I hurt so bad I just let the bike run wide open until it died on it's own
