Np300 Jack, wheel brace & spare wheel. Any Good?

John Tests the standard Nissan Navara NP300 wheel changing Kit. Where is it all stored. How effective is the Jack and wheel brace. How hard is it to get at the spare wheel?
Will it do the job when you are stranded at the side of the road or is a call to the RAC or AA inevitable?

The only quibble I had when using mine was putting the tool through the hole that is used to lower and then raise the spare wheel is in real danger of damaging the surrounding paint (and there fore anti corrosion protection ) when it is under load . Also I want my "puzzle" nut separate to prevent thieving toe rags from acquiring it . Good vid.

Good Call Ian I think I will wrap some insulating tape around the extension rod at the rights position to coincide with the hole in the bodywork.

Same situation. look for an arrow embossed on the chassis further back

this is far from an easy operation, its not easy to get that adaptor on the wheel winch without getting under the car, the jack is average, sounds easy on your drive at home, try it in the rain on the side of a busy road, or in an off road situation, advice carry a trolley jack in the truck and i now keep the spare wheel in the back as well.
