NPS' Dr. Sam Buttrey, Jeopardy! Professors Tournament on Preparing for the Tournament of Champions

Жыл бұрынNaval Postgraduate School Associate Professor, Operations Research Dr. Sam Buttrey won Jeopardy!'s first-ever Professors Tournament in December 2021. He is now competing in the 2022 Tournament of Champions, happening now, against the last season's best competitors. Watch Dr. Buttrey in his first Tournament appearance on Monday, November 7.

Great stuff from Sam. I've seen other contestants express similar sentiments--that once you're at that level of trivia, 90% of the contestants know 90% of the answers 90% of the time, so buzzer timing increasingly becomes the most important game component. And Sam is currently in the Tournament of Champions finals, so clearly his reflexes haven't regressed very much with age
