Thank you for advocating for NRPSI. Just one thing NRPSI does not look after their registrants. The role of looking after the members is with professional associations. NRPSI is a regulator and its role is to regulate its registrants.

Come again? NRPSI is the only interpreting organisation which looks after our interests. They are the only serious player in the industry at the moment.

@@aniaheasley5970 Mike and the Board of NRPSI are indeed working hard. It will be fair to acknowledge the work of all the other great organisations working on behalf of their members and the industry: all PI4J members such as CIOL, ITI, APCI, NUPIT, NUBSLI. ATC has also been doing a lot of work as well as FIT and EULITA. Many talented individuals are also working hard to bring the change, Aggie is a prime example, Hiba and TLC group, Helena El Masri, Phil Muriel, Yelena McCafferty to mention a few...Let's acknowledge everyone. Every single one of the above organisations and individuals are serious players and have best interests of the industry in mind

Hi agnieszka great video as always and thanks for putting these interviews up. I’m currently learning polish because I want to work in the interpretation industry but I am also very of the level that is required and I was wondering if you could possibly do a video explaining your own experience on learning English because I don’t think the topic of how interpreters learn a language to such a high level is discussed in the interpreting sphere. I might be wrong but that’s what I’ve observed over the past couple of months. Dękuje pani bardzo 🙂

Sure it’s Steven👍 and I thought I added this but forgot but if it’s possible can you also talk about your experience and how you learned how to take a polish thought and put it in English in a clear and comprehensible way because when you begging to reach even an intermediate stage it’s easier not translate which isn’t ideal for interpretation for obvious e reasons 😂 thanks
