Part Two of my day on Norfolk Southern’s West Slope back on April 2, 2021 brings us to the Route 53 overpass in Cresson, PA. This is a great afternoon vantage point to view trains coming to the top of the mountain, and this 5-track section really shows why the Pennsylvania Railroad called their main line the “Great Broad Way.”
