In this video, I'm going to show you exactly how to install the newest Nuance Dragon software on your computer.
Previously, I was using the free dictation tool from Google docs but I was unsatisfied with my results. I decided to move forward with the new dictation software.
In this video, I'm going to show you exactly how I installed it and customized it after my purchase. The video takes a while to watch so don't hesitate to skip to sections that interest you the most.

Long term user of professional (and specially tailored version) - its epic. You need a keyboard too for max speed. You might have to change certain words you commonly use because it’s easier to do that than “train”. Couldn’t work without, but am using a very specialised version with specific dictionaries - professionals need to be aware of this. The more tailored the (much) more expensive the license.

Hello and my name is Michelle. I have been a long-time user of Dragon NaturallySpeaking. I have been using it since version 4 where you had to read pages and pages. I hope you have found it great. I noticed this, but he was put up and 2019. I am currently running Dragon naturally speaking 15 pro individual which had a few more features. I just hope you have enjoyed your time with Dragon and hopefully you have learnt a lot of things over that time since his body was put up.

I am having issues with hooking up the mic that I got with it, the message I get about how to set it up, its cut off and can't see all of it

@@RafalReyzer Version 15 is faster. To Dragon naturally speaking version 13. I ride would highly recommend updating to it

Can Dragon be used for command imput in Autocad ?

I know something new, that can do that for you. Try: blue-maria.com The customizations (which commands to execute when) is not documeted yet, but you just need to find the right ...commands... file (the one for your keyboard) in the subfolder of the installation file and edit it with administration rights. Make a copy first in case something goes wrong. Run blue-maria with admin rights if AutoCAD is running with admin rights as well.

Thanks for the tutorial. Do you know if this product would work for an interview setting, where I typically need to transcribe both sides of the conversation? One side would consistently be me, so it can train nicely with prolonged usage, but the other side would have a different interpreter speaking daily and I'm wondering how the software would manage that. If it's poor performing with the latter, do you think one can easily disengage the software from attempting to transcribe that one side of the conversation before switching back to my side?

Thank you for the video, it was pretty good but I would’ve like to know what type of computer you installed it on. Does it work well with an iPad Pro? Btw I didn’t see a link anywhere I scrolled all the way to the bottom and no link.

You're welcome! A really cool feature of "Professional Individual" is auto transcribing audio to text. Also adding extra words and commands. To see a comparison table between the two, you can check the Nuance Dragon Review on my blog (link in the description). Cheers!

@@khaleesirb9104 Hi! It won't transcribe it automatically if that's what you're asking. But if you put an audio recording on your headphones, and then talk to the mic to transcribe it, it works great. At least three times faster than typing :)

I have a question. I have the Dragon Naturallyspeaking Nuance. My computer does not have a CD drive. How can I download needed information to get started? I have the serial number from my CD. Thank you for your time.

Can get a external dvd drive or if you have a internal drive still to hand get a usb adaptor for it

I use ver13 and I don't know if ver15 is any better. I find that it works just as well when I speak fast. You don't need to speak slow. It looks like Dragon is not keeping up, but it is. There's a small delay, but the text will appear momentarily. Nice review, thank you for the video.

What do you personally use voice dictation for? Are you in school and using it for that? Or maybe your KZfaq work? Also, do you still use it to this day.

Nice vid! Do you know how to create macros? I'm trying to make one to switch to next virtual desktop "Windows + Ctrl + Right key" but when I record it - it only clicks windows button once.

Hi, good video :-) just a question if you might know if there will be any new version of Dragon NaturallySpeaking coming soon. Since I'm considering buying Dragon NaturallySpeaking 15, but if Dragon NaturallySpeaking 16 is coming soon, I'd rather wait.

Dragon 15 came out in 2016 so I would suppose there will be a new version soon. But there's no info about that so far. However, if you buy 15 and 16 comes out, you can upgrade at a much-discounted price. I hope that helps!

As far as I can tell, in a sense, Dragon 15 is the last. After that it goes "pro," which I think means a pro-pensity for enormous pricing! Ultimately the entire world will become a captive, neve-ending per month fee trap.

Hello, I liked your video for the nuance dragon home 15. Does this work well for online college courses for someone with issues typing because of carpal tunnel or tendenitus problems due to typing and using mouse? Hi Thanks. Is it priced for life issue, or just for upgrades within the Version? Does it cost another license fee when goes V15 to V16?

Hi! It's a lifetime license, but if they release V16, you'll need to pay for the upgrade (but not the full price). Take care!

Hi! I've been using it on Windows 10. I'm afraid there might be a compatibility issue with Win 11. Otherwise, the app doesn't have any significant hardware requirements.

I was told by customer service that you can have it installed on 4 devices. If you want to deactivate a device to free up a spot you need to call Nuance customer support.

@@RafalReyzer It does not require any Internet connection. Unless you are using an online program. If you are using offers. For instance, the desktop version. It works perfectly. This message was actually dictated straight into KZfaq . I am a long-time user of Dragon NaturallySpeaking since version 4 and before that I used what was called Dragon dictate but switched to NaturallySpeaking when it came out you can now enough do anything with Dragon NaturallySpeaking and as of 2021 Dragon 15 was still the latest version version 15 pro version 15.6.1. I hope this has helped people who is reading this message. After watching this video, Michelle PS you can set up Dragon to put punctuation and automatically in the home addition and professional addition. And there's even a legal addition and I think there's one for doctors as well

Maybe version 15 is a lot better, but version 13 is terrible. In every fucking line it will get something wrong, and that gets annoying really fast. Even bought a separate microphone for it, but it doesn't seem that I'm going to be able to use it for my stories. Guess that typing is the way to go.
