As a life long Canucks fan I will have to say yes. Quinn is the difference maker. This team is not going to get shutout and fully rely on our goalie like we did with Luongo on our last cup run. That being said it's going to be a real uphill battery to make it to the finals. Alot of stacked teams in the west this year

Thank you so much for your amazing videos, they really bring extra live to this great season and it's great getting to rewatch the highlights of each game and notice things I didn't see on my first time around (and see things I did notice that I'm starting to pay closer attention to thanks to your analysis!). Can we also talk about how incredible it is for the Canucks to have not one, not two, but FIVE players (four skaters + Demko) in the All-Stars game? That's going to be such a blast to watch along with the skills competition. As for the Arizona game, another great one for the 'Nucks despite the frosty weather outside. Poor Boeser is cursed though- three goals called back already and the season isn't even over. Why does it always happen to him specifically? 😆 A possible nickname idea for our fourth line- the "Road Hogs" line, for a) big Hog Höglander, b) their incredible performance during the road trip, and c) their ability to "hog" the puck in the offensive zone and block the opposing team from breaking out of their zone the way a road hog motorcyclist makes it "difficult for others to proceed safely" I'm predicting a 3:2 win for the 'Nucks over the Leafs It also would be cool in a future Canuck video or something to have a shoutout to the PWHL because the more support that gets, the more chances Vancouver could get a team in that league in the future and that would just be amazing

I don't know if anyone here would agree with this statement but I don't think its all that crazy to be saying. I think the Sportsnet announcers that announce canucks games (like the ones announcing the Arizona game right now) are two of the best announcers in the entier league. I love it when they talk about more than just hockey like when they talk about showing up to watch practice and how they're probably canucks fans and I definetly love that they show that sometimes, but they also seem to be incredibly fair when talking about the other team which I don't always notice other announcers doing. I just love these announcers they definetly make the experience of watching a canucks game at home so much more enjoyable.

Talent wise pretty much. They play all facets of the game very well. Coaching staff is very impressive, I really feel like nobody is giving Tocchet enough credit to be honest. Bruce got a raw deal but Tocchet & his staff's fingerprints run deep. Until the end of the season though we won't really know if they're the best Canucks team ever. Props to Miller for standing up for what he did, intentional or not. Buffalo should've dropped the issue then, this is why they're struggling & why the Canucks aren't. Discipline is real.

So I've been a Canucks fan basically since pretty late in the 2011 playoffs (I'm from Germany, started to get into hockey in 2010 when the world championship was in Germany, and basically only just heard of the NHL in 2011 playoffs with Seidenberg and Ehrhoff going far....). Now, since most games are at 4 o'clock in der morning here, and I'm not like eighteen anymore, I think I haven't seen a game for like 2 years. Still followed the Canucks, tho. The CBJ game was the first game I watched, definitly this season. And they lost. I feel like I'm the problem.

You can't make that determination after 1/2 a season. The early 90s teams are still the best and deepest from top to bottom. The 2011 team had the most regular season success, but they showed in the playoffs that they weren't as deep or as gritty as they needed to be - and they were expected to win. The 1994 team was already basically on the way down for all intent and purpose, but they defied the odds because they had the right combination of skill, depth, grit and a solid goalie having the greatest run of his career, stealing games. The Canucks have never had a D-man as talented as Quinn Hughes, but they've been more balanced and deeper on the back end from top to bottom.

Imo it’s way too early to dub the ‘23-34 Canucks as the best Canucks team ever. They are yet to prove themselves in the playoffs, which is an entirely different beast and the only measurement that really matters at the end of the day. But I am comfortable saying this team is tied with the 2011 Nucks as my personal favourite Nucks team and the funnest to watch. There’s so much talent on this team and for the first time in a decade I really feel like we’ve got a legitimate contender in Vancouver. I’m going crazy waiting for the playoffs to begin, I just want to see how this team performs in a 7 game series so bad!
