I always say that BTS are always better in their live performances than the studio version. Some new reactors can't believe that they are singing live because how can they possibly sing while performing those rigorous dance moves. They later find out that they really are singing live. BTS is amazing.

Another great reaction!!! Their training teaches them how to breathe and dance while they sing and rap. There will only be one BTS. They all come together as brothers and are perfectionist and work hard to make themselves shine 💜

They are absolutely insane live especially going over the top at award shows. Just FYI be careful MMA are sometimes ok but MAMA will usually block you if you don’t use some sort of stage mix. The channel Enjoy BTS more has versions of things that should be ok if in doubt. I’ve ever seen them live but I’ve caught them in theaters a few times. I do have tickets to see Suga in his solo AgustD show I’m suuuper hyped!

Oh I don´t even know now how many times I´ve watched this and doesn´t get old. It is amazing how can this feel so good each time. They never cease to amaze me.

As trainees they trained between 12 to 15 hour days and had to learn to sing on treadmills. This is why their voice is so steady even while dancing.

And now you need to do 2019. Trust me.

Fun fact: they used to practice singing while running on treadmills to build stamina and learn how to stabilize their voices while dancing. 😁💜

This is another absolutely amazing performance. NOBODY does it like BTS. Nobody ever will. The dark mystery of "Fake Love" to that magic trick (which I still haven't figured out) to the living kaleidoscope of more-Korean-than-thou "Idol"... This can't be topped... except by BTS's MMA 2019. ;) (I love you calling Jin "Kore".)

This has always been hands down my favorite awards show performance from them. ICONIC!

AHHH..I have seen them live at the yet to come in Busan concert, although didn't manage to get into the stadium I was still very lucky to get into the live play (note: it is war to get tickets for a BTS concert!). OMG, I could still remember the goosebumps, the hype, I felt a roller coaster of emotions from screaming my heart out to crying when they sang Spring Day! I will never forget that experience. The 2 hr show felt so short as always. Of course, still hoping I get to see them live in the stadium here down under one day. Also seen them in Cinemas and that was awesome too. I never get tired watching them live, that is BTS they live for their live performances. Also, although BTS may have backing tracks going during their live performances, especially for those highly energetic songs, our boys always sing live. Lip-syncing is never in their vocabulary.

Maybe older ARMY than I can confirm, but I heard BTS got so much time at the 2019 show because other companies didn’t send their groups because they figured BTS was going to sweep the awards. Which they did. 😂

And remember Suga still had not had his shoulder energy so it's amazing he could even lift his arm at this point!!

The traditional Fan Dance was Jimin’s brainchild! He actually formally trained in the art of the Fan Dance. He received an appreciation award for this performance from the National Cultural Fan Dance Society!

Airplane is cheeky and every performance is a little different, it won't spoil it.

As hard as it is to believe, their 2019 performance was even better.

BTS were really sneaky about leaving hints to their next album at these end of the year award shows. We usually don't "get" the clues until the new one is released and this is what happened here. The lighted boxes at the start spell out the word PERSONA which was the title of the next album - Map of the Soul: Persona with RM doing the intro song which is also titled Persona. Airplane is a solo track from Hobi on his Hope World mixtape and the verses are the same in both songs which is a fun nod toward his individual style. It was also pre-recorded, explains the low audio in some parts, to give the boys time to change and get the stage reset for that crazy Idol performance. I've been lucky enough to see BTS twice and Idol was on the set list both times. There was nothing like jumping up and down while yelling at the top of our lungs, "You can't stop me loving myself! and it's one of the best moments I've had as an adult. I hope you'll get to see the 2018 ending moment speech after they won a daesang for Artist of the Year and it's pretty tough to watch. (A daesang is the top award for musical artists.)

The first part until they ' disappear ' was actually pre-recorded (they often have parts like that in Award Shows' for clothes change and other reason's) but it's still a crazy performance. Like always with BTS !!!🤗

DUDE yes! This was the live performance of Idol I wanted you to see, although the single song performance has a different camera angle but it’s this one 🎉🎉now the dance practise makes even more sense hey 😊 if you’d like to not spoil songs you haven’t heard we can curate you a list so do ask, I think you’re doing great tho! And there’s so much more to go… Ole Kore killed it hey 😉 I am just amazed at how they always manage to exceed expectations. It must be so much pressure… their dance teacher is also their choreographer, Son Sungdeuk, since their trainee days tho of course other choreographers have worked with them on different projects.. he was promoted cos of how amazingly tight he taught them to dance and perform and is now Performance Director at Big Hit/Hybe, but he still works with BTS for their big shows. J-hope became BTS’ performance leader so he’s in charge of monitoring how it looks and making sure everyone’s synchronised, and changing choreo to fit the needs, for example when Suga had his shoulder surgery they performed for 2 months as 6, leaving a gap for him but some things had to be changed and you’d never know. So enjoying your reactions, esp as someone who loves dance and hip hop it’s good to see your excitement, I share it over here in Scotland like so many of us armys do all over the world. Do you think you have a bias yet? Contrary to what most think about western bands, it’s not really your fav member or it doesn’t have to be, it’s more the member your eyes are drawn to when they’re performing. Mine’s Suga since day one, even tho JK and j-hope are two who I love watching and have so much affection for; they’re my bias wreckers as they can force my eyes away from Suga from time to time 😂 OT7 or one true seven means they’re all awesome and we can acknowledge each one being an integral part of the team and SO GOOD to watch onstage! Anyway good luck with those tickets for Australian leg of the comeback tour after 2025… it’ll be a bloodbath. You’ll have to get your weverse army membership ready cos for Suga’s tour next month all the tickets sold out during the presale within about 20 minutes and those of us who were in the queue were left with nothing after half an hour! So I need to apologise to Straykids fandom with my comment yesterday, calling them Straycats; I'm not even sure what I was thinking... 2018 MMA, loved it when I first saw it, then I went straight to all their MMA performances to binge watch. It's even more rewarding when I see youtubers reacting for the first time to ALL BTS content, I never get enough.

The outro of Fake Love is smoke and mirrors. The moment the dancers join the stage and hiding the members, they are already off the stage and the LED screen behind them show them putting on the cloaks. It is well made and even those close to the stage attending were confused at first.

If you ever watch behind the scenes of their concerts you can see them nearly (and sometimes actually) collapsing as soon as they get off stage and breathing from cans of oxygen.

Korean awards shows in general are absolutely wild compared to here (USA). MMA 2019 is another amazing performance, but BTS never disappoints, and really any awards show performance from their debut to now is worth watching. I’ve seen BTS live several times, but nothing beats the Speak Yourself stadium tour, which opened with an absolutely insane performance set & giant inflatable panthers. BTS’s live performances are just another level.

Like more than usual. 😂 They train like mad to be able to dance and sing at the same time, and for concerts build in some time for members to rest between sets, do solos, etc. It's still a ton. They sometimes use oxygen backstage. JK in particular tends to push himself too far. This version of Idol is such a triumph. Not Korean enough? Jimin got an award for promoting Korean traditional culture for that dance!
