Where is Oakley Carlson? The search continues for the 5-year-old girl who disappeared in Grays Harbor County, Washington more than a year ago. Detectives still believe there are people with information who have not told what they know. That includes Oakley's father. He's walking free despite being handed a 12-month sentence back in March. Six months ago, Andrew Carlson was sentenced for child endangerment with a controlled substance. For months, he sat in jail refusing to reveal information about Oakley's whereabouts. In early August, he became eligible for early release and walked out of jail one night at 1 a.m. What he's up to now is anyone's guess, but the search for Oakley Carlson is not over. And the woman who raised her isn't losing hope.

Because, in theory, she could be alive. They could have sold her. They could have handed her to someone else. Odds are the little girl is no longer alive. They police need to get the parents to talk or they need to find the body.

@@brookeceron8091 I do agree with you but have you heard of Harmony Montgomery ?? Harmony was last seen in 2019 and wasn't reported missing until 2021 or 2022 and now they are saying they have reason to believe that Harmony is deceased and it's no longer a missing persons case but a recovery.. Her Father is still locked up and hopefully he won't be getting out anytime soon.

Yep and not just for the state she disappeared from, it needs to be nation wide. Another little girl who disappeared was Ayla Reynolds from Maine. Look her up.

@@marciayoung8735 Was just reading an article about Summer Wells. Her father appears to have an alcohol problem and was back in jail for violation of probation. He was drinking and had a handgun in his possession. Makes me wonder.

@@1456Sassy you should research it from the day she went missing... Her Mom and Grandma should be in jail with her Dad. DSS removed her brothers out of the home and rightfully so, they say the Dad had some type of trouble in Georgia saying he molested a few of his nieces don't know the whole story behind that.. Both parents have (had) there own you tube after Summer went missing and well let's just say something is definitely not right... Summer is such a sweet little girl and I just wish she could be found safely... Harmony Montgomery's case reminds me a lot of Oakley's situation a lot of things are in common with it. I guess it seems like I'm a little obsessed with these children but I just believe if we can keep it fresh in everyone's minds then nobody will give up on looking for them..

They were cooking meth that’s how the fire started and they didn’t call cause they didn’t want to get in trouble that’s also how the kids were exposed to meth… I believe they killed this baby how on earth can they just avoid telling people where this child is?’ And that’s just ok? Garbage parents that lose their kids need to stop getting their kids back! Children are a blessing and its our job to protect them!!! This baby girl was in a loving home with parents that wanted her....she was given back to her biological parents and they harmed her. Why do we keep allowing them to go back?!! How many times does this have to happen until we stop giving them back! If you are a garbage parent and lose your kids your shouldn't get chance after chance to get your kids back. Clearly your babies aren't a priority to you. Keep them with the loving foster parents and give them 100% full and legal custody!!! There are so many loving couples that truly want children and would make amazing parents to all these kids that aren't loved and cared for by their biological crap parents! The state needs to be the voice for those babies!!! This is getting old and it's all on the states hands! Get your crap together child protection servives!

I agree. If parents who get their kids taken away can't pass drug testing and stay straight don't need their kids back. I made a mistake and lost my daughter 5 years ago. It woke me up and I straighten my life up. Been clean 5 years from weed and pills. They are on meth and meth heads normally don't change

There SHOULD be a law Stating to parents involved in these cases that they loose rights to privacy and all records are to be disclosed to law enforcement and to the public easily if requested…. The people in charge should be held accountable for negligence. I can’t believe in this day and age that kids are just being tossed aside still.

Why wouldn't the parents who had custody of her at the time she disappeared be charged with her murder or disappearance ?? Why cant all druggie parents just kill off and get rid of the body of their kids and then refuse to talk to police ??? Thats crazy . Unless these parents can show that someone stole her and even then they should have reported that ....at the bare minimum they should be charged with manslaughter.

If it wasn't for the fact that 90% of foster parents call and make reports on the parents once kids are returned home, they may have taken her seriously. But every time a child is returned home the foster parents call and make any kind of report they can. I've seen it time and time again.
