It's more simple now. Put your string on one line and the ecu you specify goes along with it. Check it out...

Good job. My electric car Nexon ( Tata motors)India could not read can data through obd port . It says ignition is not ON . What is this ? There is no ignition mode drive in electric car

@Roudter, could you please help me to understand how I can get a PID from an existing sensor on Car Scanner? I'm struggling to get ATF Temp PID, I need it to create a custom PID sensor on Torque Pro, because in Torque I can show data on screen. Thanks in advance.

I downloaded the app because I need to read the canbus on my 2015 mustang, and the can commander works, but somehow the monitor only shows question marks in the log

Hey, thanks for the question. The commander automatically listens for the correct ecu address, the monitor - not so. The monitor needs to be configured... So, try this (in the monitor)... 1) set the header to exactly the ECU address you want to listen to 2) set the mask to FFF 3) click 'Init' (make sure you get a success on this) 4) finally click 'listen' and fingers crossed. (unclick the 'Use Grid' as it just isn't that good)

Can I get the source code? I'm a programmer and I am working on my final project at university it's about reading data from obd2 using an Android mobile app and I want some help.

Pretty cool stuff. Maybe headers can toggle between the PID? I think you called it and a user set name with just the (header) after it.

Yes, exactly...need to set headers for each user pid. I can group them in code to minimize calling set headers. Thanks!
