Depends mostly on the socioeconomic area you live in and where you looking. Exercise park in high income area very few obese, Walmart or McDonald's in a low income area you have to be aware of your surroundings not to bump into people.

You may have high muscle content. But BMI generally works for most people. You will be considered overweight. I have never measured my fat percentage but my guess is it's minimal and I have good lean muscle mass My BMI works to be between 25.5-26. That seems good for my health. If I hit above 26, I know I am getting overweight. I think they should increase overweight from current 25 to 26 or 26.5. But 25 looks like a more round figure. But remember obese is only above 30. Obese plus overweight us now 75 percent plus adult Amerifans

You must be Fit AF. Yeah, that's what the BMI doesn't take into account, the body fat percentage. Curious to know among those 73%, how many of them are like you and are muscled gym goers. I'd say 1-2% but i've no idea...

@@firstal3799 I think 25 is just fine for most people. I'm 1m77 and get over 25 BMI when i hit 78-79kg and at that point i definitely feel overweight. I'd have to be 81-82kg to pass the 26 BMI mark and that's DEFINTELY overweight. i think 25 is perfect, to me at least...

@@VivoPhys , Well farming with chemical fertilizers makes fruits and vegetables lose flavor, depletes the soil, which means vitamins and minerals are destroyed, etc. Organic rejuvenates soils, yields flavorful produce. Increased natural flavor by NATURE means more vitamins and minerals per item.

Hi everybody, BMI has some limitations because BMI does not give informations about the body composition ( fat weight and fat free weight) this is why it can: Overestimate: Individuals who are athletic and/or have a muscular build may be categorised as overweight like Bodybuilders would be categorised as overweight or obese, as muscle weighs more than fat. Underestimate: Body fat can be underestimated in individuals who have little muscle or who have lost muscle mass. This often occurs with older people.

People have to realize that this obesity rate is fat people plus muscular people. Muscular people are considered obese too. It’s interesting to see states with medically and or recreationally legal THC to have the majority of the lower levels of obesity.
@VivoPhys
@VivoPhys 2 жыл бұрын
The number of people who meet the classification for obesity by BMI due to excessive amounts of muscle is minimal though. On an epidemiological scale it is negligible. Also the geographical trends seen in this data are far older than the successful passage of modern legal marijuana laws in any state.
