Poor kid. Grew up in a volatile situation, witnessed criminality and now has to be grilled under oath by a defense attorney in front of her warring parents, by an attorney who is implying she's being dishonest. That isn't easy for anyone. The judge is half awake and the dad is clearly trying to influence her testimony. The pressure going into court is hard for anyone. For a kid or young teen in her situation, this has to be hugely stressful in ways we can't necessarily fathom. I don't think she's been incredibly "disresptful" unlike others who seem to think so. I've seen far worse from adults under cross-examination. I simply can't blame her for not having loads of "respect" for the adults around her, given her apparent life experiences including what she's now experiencing in real time. Anyone expecting absolute adult maturity from any 14 year old being grilled under oath in an hostile manner is expecting far too much, especially considering everything in this child's background.

Also when they are peering through the window, she sees her Mother and Victim laying on the Couch.....the camera shows the Accused Zach Anderson take a *Deep Inhale* and mouth something....that is the only emotion he has shown .....so he didn't care about his daughter's plight, agony, or show any remorse etc etc, he was just still Raging about his Ex with another Man And in parts he was Red with Rage..

The daughter clearly has been coached by the mother and the prosecution and in the past by the father all of them involved should be ashamed of themselves. As a child in this type of case she should not be made to testify against her father and help to put him away for the rest of his life because she is probably when she is grown and mature may come to regret that decision that she was involved in that. I don’t know what trial everyone else has been watching but the DA has been caught lying .. more than once! The judge is so damn biased that I can’t understand how some other judge hasn’t come rushing in to say “WTF”!! Not to mention how the DA is running the show, interrupting the defence non-stop and beyond the normal “objection”!! The defence have to fight for every inch of the playing field! Even when they’re right, the judge pauses forever trying to think of some way to protect his white-haired buddy!! PLUS prosecutions witnesses have also been caught being shady to say the least! AND CourtTV is so one-sided and seems to always stick with the pre-determined storyline outcome! His daughter was LYING! His daughter was also rude and mouthy and in my opinion, he motioned for her to zip her lips and stop being bratty! She couldn’t keep her obviously rehearsed lies straight and every time she went off script she got eaten alive!! Why was there no mention of the DA’s “die die die”? Or the whole ASL thing and how the mother didn’t know ASL until she admitted that she knew it? The DA said IN COURT that she wasn’t ASL certified AND then said she didn’t know sign-language… until she said she did! Why not mention that? Or how the prosecution’s witness Washington has been just about caught admitting that the DA made him promises in exchange for sticking with the story? Court Tv is almost as bad as CNN!! Who cares about the truth when the drama and lies are better for ratings right?? Damn SHEEP!!

70 years old is middle of the bell curve for rapidly declining cognition, basically aging in dog years. Judge is _seventy seven_ years old. The first signs of cognitive decline “You find it hard to make decisions, finish a task or follow instructions. You start to have trouble finding your way around places you know well. *You begin to have poor judgment* “. If there is one job you absolutely shouldn’t be working at 77, it’s a judge. Second only to that is a school bus driver (speaking from personal childhood experience lol. Every trip to school was nudging the pearly white gates. You’re not guaranteed a return trip, never mind another day). We also experience temperament changes, have radically less curiosity about the world, become set in our ways. It’s all a natural biological process. We’re born helpless & grizzly; we get grizzly and helpless. This judge was born in 1946. World War Two ended just one year prior. The first bikini went on sale. It was the _first_ year of baby boomers, following the last of the greatest generation births. This man not only is not cognitively able to perform in this role, but most his age simply don’t have the cultural knowledge & understanding needed to navigate modern day cases which increasingly focus on complex mental illness, issues of power and control, coercive control, domestic violence and intimate partner violence, consent, and a shift to not victim-blame. Respectfully, the Judge needs to hang up his cloak & retire with dignity. He may have been one brought out of retirement during Covid, but along with other cases, is an example of why we shouldn’t be doing that and/or having judges working past 70 on anything more complex than misdemeanour charges or speeding tickets.

It also appeared that the daughter was well coached by her mother the prosecutor or maybe both. The poor kid is probably feeling very torn among other things let's face it it's not a field trip.
