Just when I think I've confessed enough and made enough amends about one issue, a new issue -- no, a new string of issues comes to mind, and I have to check those out immediately, and when I find things I feel I've been less than 100% honest and right, I get thrown into yet another panic and darkness.

It’s like my mind is searching then it gets stuck on things. Especially in public. It’s annoying. I’m constantly uncomfortable

It also latches onto things that happened years before in your childhood. things you had forgotten about and that hadnt been thought about for years. Thats why it seems so real because once it was real. You can get through by facing those fears and not burying them deep inside you like you did the first time round in your childhood.

Such an amazing video. OCD does definitely latch and morph and move around, it’s overwhelming 😔

that is sooo true... OCD took whats most important to me: the love and care about myself and life. And latched onto the existential OCD that doubted my whole existence... today i understand it so well. and to me it really helped to accept the fact that one day I won't be here for real. that i am nothing permanent and one day i have to say good bye to myself... and that acceptance really made things better

"It was like being on trial 24/7." I would literally have mental pictures of a courtroom with a judge and jury all the time.

That's how I can explain my perfectionism I'm not satisfied with anything. I can not sit down calm and relaxed. In the past when I did not know about ocd thoughts it convinced Me I got syphilis and made me stay inside the house living with thought I had syphilis. Unable to work or move out. And I knew the 5 blood tests I did were negative. This lasted for 1 year.

Can ocd make you question every single action you do, for example that you did the Ction for bad motives? And also can it even be something that literally happened 5 minutes ago?.

Do the things you love! Let ocd be there. Don’t wait to do things we love until OCD goes, get out there and do them with OCD there!

@@samwilliams837 yes OCD will never go we all sufferer should accept there will times comes when we feel uncomfortable gets anxiety ..I accepted it all..but when I saw other people sometimes it's very heartbreaking like they are fast they don't have to manage any type of things..they are success they do what they love and we become slow in many things

@@pearlhabor7993- No, your mind has fabricated a scenario where someone deliberately gives you HIV as a consequence for saying it. I used to think if I said ‘heart attack’ out loud, I’d have one.

By jail did you mean like a literal jail and someone guilting themselves over something they did or you meant like the “mental jail of ocd”?

Hey Joseph - Mental jail but even if we went to physical jail acceptance would apply.
