There is no issue with THIS vessel or expedition. They were 180 feet under water in this case. That’s not that deep compared to the titanic which is 12,500 feet down. If they have stuck with these shallower expeditions, they would be fine. Even if they got lost, they could have been easily rescued at 180 feet. The Titan sub that went to the titanic though was another beast and it’s 1000x more dangerous than this 150-200 foot dives.

Stockton Rush was a smart man. It’s literally insane how everyone is calling him an idiot and everyone knows best. The guy was an aerospace engineer, he became a commercial pilot at 18, one of the youngest in the world, he built his own carbon fibre aircraft and flew it when everyone said it wouldn’t work. And he had other engineers working with him. You all are bashing him too much, he made a mistake..we all made mistakes. He was in the sub too there was no malice he died too. And you’re all hypocrites because you care so much about these 4 ppl that died, except Rush, but only with words. I’m sure if one of them was lying in the streets half dead you would have just walked past quickly. I’ve been attacked and robbed twice as a younger girl 10 years ago and 12 years ago, in a busy street. Full of ppl walking next to me. I was shouting for someone to help me, nobody did. Nobody. Twice. In 2 different countries. My mum at 70yo fell in the street, in another country, nobody helped her get up of the ppl walking by. Someone made jokes while walking by. So everyone is so sad about these ppl dying and so angry with Rush but then in real life nobody cares about each other. There’s the exception of course.

@@yourshadows I think the opposite - his behaviour was a result of his past success. He actually had an incredible career really. But I think this lead him to think he was invincible, and that he knew everything. Which lead to this disaster - I also thought imagine if he WASNT on the sub, and he had just sent 5 people to their deaths (I’m not saying it’s ‘good’ he was on it, I just can’t imagine what would happen if he wasn’t on it - he didn’t always pilot the sub)

@@KatrinaE11 Katrina should look up the definition of Diversity. It's not always different ethnic backgrounds. Sometimes it's younger people and also he did hire some minorities too but I have no idea what their positions were and if they were qualified for the job. I won't speculate on that. To many on the Ieft hiring Women is a part of Diversity because apparently they don't get enough jobs like Men do.

No, he was a delusional loser. He was no different from the flat earther shitgoblin who built the steam rocket, and I will do my part to make sure he will be remembered as such. It is not like he was pioneering new tech. Better tech already existed, and he ignored the warnings of people with experience designing and building it.
