Yes, the mellotron ending in Seven Stones is great but not like this.. The Mello is in choir or chorus mode here, something Tony didn't do yet until Selling England. The choir sound is by far the most intense other worldly sound created for prog rock married to the ARP Pro SOlost that Tony uses for the errry ghostly sound. It's that simple. Spine tingling alone with the Pro Soloist in eerrry mode... 😄

"Hauntingly Beautiful" This song still gives me chills! I remember being 17 years old, laying on my bed, listening to this song and visiting lands far away in my mind. To this day, this song never fails to send me back to that emotional place in time. Actually, this whole album, along with "Wind and Wuthering", and "And Then There Were Three" remain 3 Masterpieces, that continue to take me on wonderous and wild journeys to another realm!

That last two minutes when the patient drifts into the soft, comforting arms of morphia: well as far as I'm concerned that could go on all day and all night, I would still adore it like the first time I carefully placed this shiny new album on my turntable on the day it was released, 2/2/1976 I was just eighteen, and Genesis occupied an entirely new and beautiful room in my mind that would come to be shared with Pink Floyd and Supertramp, and always be visited by me only with my closest friends and lovers.

There weren't many more albums that I eagerly awaited release as much . Wish You Were Here, Captain Fantastic, Physical Graffiti and Peter Gabriel's debut were a few. This is my favourite track on this great album, the remaining four members of Genesis would have been anxious about the reception of this LP, it is an album that still sounds as great as when l first placed it on to my turntable!

Musical "Banckett", Tony and Steve of all the cooperativeduo play between the band members, this is the least explored, but when it happened, it was magical, between all the useless and made up drama that people talk on social media, there's one thing certain, they both would be glad to work together again atleast once. "Over the rooftops in houses, lost as it tries to be seen" "Mesmerized children are playing, meant to be seen but not heard" I remember having a dream when i was a kid, not that long ago but still far, were i discovered a group of kids that liked to go outside at night, through the rooftops into an abandoned place, a refuge with games and sweets... i remember always wanting to have a group of friends when little, a reliable group to share many experiences together, but it never happened.

"Don't be absurd!" "Well if we can help you we will You're looking tired and ill As I count backwards Your eyes become heavier still Sleep, won't you allow yourself fall Nothing can hurt you at all With your consent I can experiment further still." Madrigal music is playing Voices can faintly be heard "Please leave this patient undisturbed." Sentenced to drift far away now Nothing is quite what it seems Sometimes entangled in your own dreams "Well, if we can help you we will Soon as you're tired and ill With your consent We can experiment further still Well, thanks to our kindness and skill You'll have no trouble until You catch your breath And the nurse will present you the bill!"

If the two of them didn't always get along, when they did collaborate they created some of the most beautiful and magical music I've ever heard. I sort of regard the keyboard solo at the end of Entangled as Tony returning the favor for the guitar solo Hackett performed in Firth of Fifth.

It’s as if one were entering one of these palaces in center of Europe, with the pastry architecture “style whipped chocolate tart” In every room where one enters, the individuals are dressed in black and white from head to foot. They have this strange absence in the eyes while staring at you.The ceilings are painted, the furnishings are indescribably luxurious and the marble tables reflect the evanescent serenity of the place! Everything is rigid, until the time that flows behind the paneling, as on the alert ..

I have the original album in deep storage in Glasgow, it’s in a Fort Knox situation until I can retrieve it to Melbourne Australia where I know live. A diamond in my crown this album, it speaks of wandering minds and roaming in the glens. A treasure.
