Clarkson got a field day with mocking Hammond but just a few episodes later, Hammond got his revenge when openly gay singer Will Young was the star in the reasonably priced car and Clarkson got along with Young a little too well. It resulted in Clarkson winning an award for "Most embarrassing flirting on television" at the 2008 Top Gear awards.

I really believe that the only reason why Jeremy and James kept mocking Hammond for wanting to bring Oliver home is because Oliver, out of all three cars, never needed to be modified whatsoever and kept going while Jeremy's Lancia and James's Mercedes needed to be torn apart and rebuilt with garbage laying around in their back seats and whatever they could find in Botswana. They could not stand how smug Hammond was about it. So instead of Jeremy and Richard messing with James's car, Jeremy and James were now mocking Richard and Oliver.

+ZoopsMind Thanks dude...I had no chance of figuring it out...as a non english person it is already difficult to understand the standard language. Accents are simply off limits ;) I'm still interested though. Do the other two have an accent too?

Yeah, I'd say everyone on the planet has an accent - I've never met anyone who talks like a text-to-speech synthesiser! As TV presenters their accents are a bit muted for the sake of greater clarity, but they're easily noticeable. James' accent is a London one, definitely from the City. If I had to guess I'd say he came from a middle-class neighbourhood on the western outskirts of the metropolitan area of London. As for Richard, he's very obviously more northern. He's often referred to as a 'Brummie' by the other two, and while they often use hyperbole they're not wrong, he sounds like he's from the West Midlands - Birmingham, Rugby, Warwick and the like. I wouldn't say he's from the city, though. Again, the other two often say that he lives on a farm in the middle of nowhere. Hope this helped clear something up!
