During the college basketball game between Ohio State and Michigan State, Ohio State's Dale Bonner hit the game winning three pointer with just 0.2 seconds left to give the Buckeyes a 60-57 victory on the road. The win snapped a 17 game road losing streak for Ohio State.

Ohio State for the past two weeks played like they have nothing to lose. Beat Purdue last Sunday and snapped a 17-game road losing streak at MSU today!!! They probably will not make it to the NCAA Tournament this year, but I have not seen them play like this in a LONG time. Really happy for Jake Diebler and how this team rallied around.

I met Diebler when he was a preschooler who kept interrupting my interview with his father. I'm happy for him, but I feel ancient.

I think it is still possible for us to make the tournament although unlikely(but our remaining schedule is easy). This definitely shows how big of a problem Holtmann was as a hindrance to this teams success.

That’s because Chris Holtmann was a horrible coach. This is a big indictment on his performance as a coach. Diebler has got these kids playing hard and is always intense during the game. Holtmann was a yes-man for players and that’s a huge no-no in the coaching profession.

Gotta give credit to Ohio State. The last two weeks, they’ve played like they’ve got nothing to lose. It’s amazing what happens when you get rid of a coach that had lost the locker room. Great win Bucks!

I was at this game a few hours ago, Spartan Alum. Fell out of my seat… We were up like 13 points at one point! Miraculous that we found a way to lose this. I said to myself when I was leaving the game: “I know I’m gonna see that on PSC later tonight.” Lol shoutout to one of my favorite KZfaq channels for coming thru (even though it was an L for us…).

I gave up watching this OSU team before Christmas because it was obvious they were going backwards with Holtmann still in charge. It's a shame he wasn't fired sooner because this team shouldn't have anywhere near this many losses. Thankfully he's long gone and forgotten now, and the players have rallied to try to make something of the season. They have a great shot of winning out, avoiding having to play on Wednesday of the B1GT, and get to 20 wins in what has certainly been a disastrous season. Lots to build on for the future.

B1G officiating comes with strange moments nearly every game. And there are a number of fans and coaches who believe the officiating is so different from the other conferences that it hurts B1G teams in the NCAA tournament year in and year out. FWIW I agree with them.

My hopes for MSU beating Purdue at Mackey ain't looking like it'll go too well. If my team just didn't loose a 7 point lead with 35 seconds, we'd be in perfect world - all we had to do was beat WISC and MINN for that Purdue game to be a championship game. Now it's really tough. Thought MSU could knock em off but they lookin terrible right now.

That's not the actual clock, it's just the CBS clock, but it also went right from 3.8 to 3.2 so it was really just out of synch for a fraction of a second.

This was the very first basketball game I've ever been to, and I travelled 4+ hours one way to get there. Trust me when I say that OSU did not win this game. MSU lost it, in incomprehensible fashion. OSU sucks. MSU's fear of losing made them suck even more. I'm completely speechless and at a loss for words.

What's even more crazy than the buzzer beater is.....a basketball game with 55 points after 40 minutes (FOURTY MINUTES) of play! Women college scores are higher than this. They need to fix College BB. I love watching it, but some of these shooters % and their shot selection is downright TRASH. The men's game needs legitimate hoopers that can get 28-35 points every night! It's the ONLY version of the sport not doing that, women's college has those players and NBA has those players. Not to mention the lack of foul calls in the men's game makes it sometimes unwatchable. Guys get hacked and can't even at least get to the free throw line.
