Probably 6 15lbers tightly packed in there. I recently sold this and bought a old country bbqpits over and under from academy which is all welded, and is freaking awesome and cheaper than this longhorn

Yes it will paint chip bad on the firebox. But almost all offset smokers will paint chip on firebox eventually.
