Who loves a good before and after?? This worn out, beat up, stinky old dresser was definitely resurrected. It took a few days longer than expected but that walnut woodgrain is singing once again, with just the smallest bit of paint to really set it off.
There is also a rescue bunny update, and I show you how I sharpen my scrapers, patch veneer, and use an ozone machine for the first time.
I hope you enjoy this insane transformation!

I was in the antiques business most of my adult life and I think your sensitivity for these pieces, excellent taste as well as exceptional skill for refinishing is incredible. This video was NOT too long, it was fascinating, educational and wonderful to watch and listen to. I happily subscribed!

As a woman woodworker for over 25 years, I am so happy to see another woman sharpening her tools. This is the first time I've ever seen it done in any video that I've watched. Also, this is the first video of yours that I've watched and I'm so glad to see you didn't use oven cleaner to "strip" this piece. Oh, and thanks for not killing the spiders. I evict them also and never kill them.

You're one of the most meticulous restorationists I've seen. Your attention to the smallest details is the reason your projects turn out so well.

I think your subscribers aren’t typical KZfaq subscribers that average out to 20 minutes and then abandon the video as too long. Instead, I think we love the longer videos. Especially on a piece that surely was destined for the landfill.

Before I go down to the basement to look at my grandparents 1940's secretary that I've wanted to resurrect for years, I wanted to say thanks for this video. I've never seen your work before and it was a wonderful way to start my day. You are not only a talented restorer, the filming and editing of this project is wonderful. Kudos to you!

OMG! No one would ever suspect that this gorgeous piece used to look as pitiful as it did. For some reason the seller had been holding onto it knowing that one day the right person would come along and see that it still had some worth and he was absolutely right. Thankfully that person was you, and with your love patience and expertise it’s finally been lovingly and painstakingly restored back to it’s natural glory and it looks absolutely beautiful. You’re definitely a miracle worker!!❤👏👏

Totally amazed at your skill, and ability to see the beauty in what was clearly destined for the garbage dump. I love that you take the time to do the inside of the draws. I haven't seen anyone else go through so much trouble to make the inside of the draws look like near new condition. People don't want to put their thing, weather it would be clothes, linens, or sterling in a draw that stinks, and is not clean. You have taught me a fine lesson. Thank you, Katie Anderson Windsor CT

You took that poor, smelly unloved little dresser and saved it from certain oblivion. Someone will love it for years to come. I can’t overstate the significance of what you do. It creates positivity on so many levels. Know that you are appreciated by many people and may you continue for a long, long time.

I watch dozens of videos daily. (I’m retired. It’s ok.). I rarely comment, maybe 2-3 times a year. But this is one of those times. Great job! Your care and respect for the wood and how to restore shows throughout the video. Keep it up! The world needs dedicated craftsmen (craftspersons?) like you.

Angie, after watching about 50 of your videos, I have to say - YOU ARE SUCH A BAD ASS! I love your skills and I dig your voice - so calming. Thank you for the time and effort you put into these videos. A fan for life.

The end result is so beautiful, it really made me feel emotional thinking how this could so easily have been lost in landfill forever. It’s an absolute joy seeing how much work and love you put into these poor old pieces. Loved the detail in this video and it certainly wasn’t too long, I was so interested. Congratulations on the $3k you raised for the bunnies - that was a lot of tattoos.

Oh my goodness, this is probably my favorite transformation yet! If I could give you 5 thumbs up I would. You really created a masterpiece out of something that looked so beat up, chipped, scarred, etc. Loved watching every minute!

What I love most about your channel is how you give each peice what it needs. Your thinking is not limited to one way of refinishing a peice whether your decide to paint, stain, apply odies oil or a combination.

Watching this reminded me of my grandmother. She was widowed young with 9 children and a farm during WWII and lost her oldest son. She, like you, could see the life left in a piece and found ways to use what she had to bring things back to life.
