Jane reminds me of Tiffany, from RM Brooks. These two are both beautiful inside and out. Everytime I watch these type of video's, I think more and more of maybe moving down that way. 🩷

I still remember the washboard. I also as a kid used to help mama! Ring out the cloth on the old hand crank rollers. Then they got modern! Up in the days,gas washer and electric came swing out the arm and feed your cloth through it and hang on the line to dry. And the winter mom would hang out tìl they froze then beat the ice off and hang inside to finish drying freezing and beating made it faster then just hanging and less water dripping on the floor to mop up. Look at G.E. AND ALL THE OLD GAS! Powered appliances back in the day! Not to mention the old lie soap! And raw! Knuckles . Momma never complained but hated mending,wash board and lie soap was as bad on dongeries then us kids and shoes. It was hard on cloth.and the diapers! Extra care! Because of the tenderness of the baby's bottom. Today it's outer space ! With all the modern contraptions. How far time has come,and from far! We need be reminded just how life was hard but simple! With less troubles of survival and taxes.🙏🏻👍🏻

Notions? Is laid back terminology! For excessive products with a designed use for sewing. And some fancy excess oriental units used to make what is called fancy. It's like a pencil charpner for your pencils, rather then using a buck knife! Kinda thing. A. more simple way for layman's to understand. 🤗like Daisey Duke! Shorts they called fancey's instead. Just lingo! In different parts of the USA.👍🏻🙏🏻

Black beans are often found on restaurants as an alternate side item. A lot of vegetarian dishes are made from black beans instead of meats. Also sered a lot in mexican restaurants as a side. Like the other comments, I grew up called sewing items were called notions. This video is like a documentary and makes me want to visit. I live in North Georgia, if we make it up we plan to visit!
