I love my Javalot turbo. The turbo mode cuts out after ten mins but if you only use turbo for eight mins each time multiple times it won't cut down apparently.

Ahh OK thanks Gary. I can't believe the battery life on this torch. Unbelievable. Even after 10 minutes it still gives 4 solid hours of over 800 lumens which is more than adequate for spotlighting.

"goes to turbo mode", I think to myself, wonder if he'll pick something up, and there it is, something looking back at you! Another great review Robbie. These torches are unreal. I can speak from experience that these items are well built quality items are you should get a good life span from them. My son has the huge Marauder flood light. That is an insane light! Robbie do a giveaway mate, because anyone who wins one these lights will be in for a treat.

Hey Damian thanks so much mate. I can feel a giveaway coming on. I was disappointed that the camera didn't pick up the eyes. To be honest, I would have loved more time but these only arrived last Friday, then I went away salt water fishing on the weekend and had to work Monday and Tuesday so was a bit pressed for time. With my camera gear and these torches I am certain that I could film the eye reflection.

Never leave an olight in your pocket use pouch. I smelt something burning ahhhh it was me had to put out quickly. They can turn on accidentally that was one of the smaller torches. But huge lumens found a use for camping with char cloth lol. Stuart Palmer Adelaide Sth Australia

KZfaq is pretty clever, I got ads for Olight on both of your videos haha. I can see hunters being very happy using this spotlight model, it's unreal how focused that beam is! Great reviews mate, I like the way you went about these.

Decent review on a good torch Robbie. Although for my money, the Astrolux FT03 is the gear for a hunting light, and a 3rd the price of this thing even when it's on sale. The proprietary batteries in the Olights means I give them a miss.

Hi Hank, thanks for the feedback mate. That sounds more than fair. I will have to check them out. It's amazing what torches are capable of these days. When I was a kid I use to spotlight rabbits with my old Bruno .22 and a Big Jim torch. Do you remember the Big Jim torches? They were like a car headlight with a massive heavy battery that were probably not even 10% of the brightness of these modern day torches. haha

Thanks Mark. I actually have a few small ones. They sent me one as a gift when I filmed the Warrior X pro, and my friend Jed Nagel also sent me one as a gift. haha They would be ideal mate. You can buy ones that take AA batteries so no need to charge in the field.

Keep the Olights for yourself your earned them. You can always share them when you fish with your mates that way other people can give their opinions on them.

Hey mate thank you so much for your very kind words. Many people do not realise the work that goes into making these types of videos. I worked in my regular job until 12:30pm yesterday, then worked from 2pm to 8pm filming and editing these two videos, as well as filming the night scenes for an hour the night before. Plus two trips (20km each way) to this spot to film them!

haha Thanks so much John. I will let you in on a little secret.... this one, as much as I love it, is going to be getting wrapped up and put under the christmas tree for the bloke that provides me with rabbits all the time. LOL I am keeping the headlamp as it is most practical to me as a fishing light, and I already have the warrior X from my last review so my old man is getting this for Xmas. Hopefully he doesnt see this comment. LOL We are having out Xmas lunch this weekend so this comment has 4 days to elude him. LOL

You should have asked them to send you a Olight Marauder 2, it looks awesome mate and I have no doubt they would have sent one if you ask..... One of the many things Olight does well is support those that support them.

Thanks mate. I have noticed that. I deal with a lot of people and a lot of companies and so far Olight have been very pleasant to deal with. Is that the crazy bright torch? haha I am going to look it up when I go to bed and watch someone elses review. LOL

On the whole I Like your review but personally I am NOT a fan of any reviewers shining the torch at the camera, especially when I am watching in a dimly lit room at night.
