I've known many a good horse who've come from gypsies, and they're less nervous of people than some of the best bred horses out there. No, it's not 5* accomodation, but horses are hardy animals and travellers have relied on them for hundreds of years. The travelling community gets a lot of things wrong, but they know their horses

@@cd55896 nah they mostly dont. I've seen so many abused horse who come from gypsys. Where I am gypsys chain up their horses in random fields and leave them with no water, don't trim their feet etc. not to mention the fact they race them on concrete ground which is so bad for their legs, plus on public roads which is even more dangerous and they have them pulling carts and being ridden way too young. Some do look after them decently but most don't.
