When I look at our nation, as it is today, I keep remembering the words of Abraham Lincoln. "If you look for the bad in people expecting to find it, you surely will." I am just so grateful that Steve Hartman, has been around to remind us of all the good there is out there too. I pray that you will continue to point the way for us all to look.

Well said! When people complain of the current situations and think that evil just spreads evil, which it does.. like mold on a loaf of bread. But to be positive, to think of the good in this country, in individuals, in life itself!.. that is also contagious. I was actually born in Britain but had dual citizenship and now consider myself solely an American citizen. I love this country for the good in it and its people, and I forgive it for the issues we have because I believe that goodness will persevere.

Great stories! Especially the singers! I might have to go to that hotel just to witness that! Actually all the stories were great. It’s amazing that just by chance of birth I can enjoy all the pleasures and freedom being an American brings. It’s so amazing listening to these who worked so hard to become citizens tell about their feelings now that they too are citizens! It makes me appreciate my citizenship even more. And makes me want to thank my mom for taking a chance and coming to this country (dad was 2 nd generation Irish). Happy 4th of July to all 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

16:00 I live in Savannah Ga. We have SO much history some good. Some not so good. But it is history. We almost lost all the history. Back in the 80s the Mayor was going to tear down all the old buildings. To build Skyrises. But with a group of ladies they stopped that foolishness. Than SCAD Savannah College Of Art And Design came to town and started saving the old building. Savannah has been saved. Many buildings were taken down over the years but we are bless to still have many.

Just as I have a list of movies I watch every holiday season, I think I will add this to a collection of 4th of july videos I should watch at least once a year.. The first on that this list is "Moscow on the Hudson"... if you've never seen it Google the ending here on KZfaq ... you will probably be in tears after just a few minutes and want to watch the entire film! Happiness and health to all and Happy 4th of July 2022!

I think it's because I lived in other countries, and I was born with dual citizenship - US and Britain.. but in many occasion I believe I am more than a patriot than those that were born here in the US. I think citizens take so much for granted including the past generations that fought for this country. At a young age I was taught the meaning of the flag and how to properly fold it. To this day when I see a USA flag in the rain I wonder why it's not taken down!?! There is so much beauty in this country that to only dwell on the negative and to not see these things as something that we as Citizens can conquere ..... that is a waste of our citizenship.
