Bless you! Never heard someone sneeze during a review! 💨🤣Nice review! I bought the 40mm version with brass case for my 7.5" wrist. It's very well made. The caramel-coloured bund strap is very comfy from the outset with no breaking-in required and suits the cream dial and orange numerals. I had some pre-purchase Qs that the brand owner answered promptly and thoroughly. It's excellent value for money if you want a brand-new but vintage-looking watch. There's a huge choice of dial and numeral colours plus not only the two case sizes but the two types of cases as well (brass and stainless steel).

I had a dress quartz Vario but as I don't really wear a suit, I sold it....fast forward I wish I hadn't. This line however is very nice and on my short list! 👍🙂

Im just getting a 1923 model restored, unmarked enamel and all black numbers, the bund is a genius idea to butch it up a bit at 32mm.....

The screw down crown also protects the crown stem and movement from shocks and catching on things. You can still snap off a threaded crown tube (not easy, or cross thread it) but it gives a lot of protection over a push pull crown in general. I have a Timex Midget that I'm afraid to use because of the over sized non screw down crown. So now it's a casual dress watch. I like it for travel because of the jumping hour hand, but I NEED one of the Vario.

Love that one, have it in the cream with the orange lume. Only issue I have is the bund strap is too short. I have a 7.5” wrist and it’s on the very last hole. Other than that fantastic little watch.

As it's been explained to me a complication is any function that does more than directly measure time, so technically even a moonphase is not a complication because it just measures time, it just involves attaching a step down gear to the going train and Bob's your uncle. Alarm, minute repeater, power reserve, calendar, chronograph, retrograde, etc. are complications. Oh, and gesundheit.
