My Grandma and my aunt used a closed dryer rack for their noodles. I loved the tone made noodles.

My nana used to put a clean sheet dusted with semolina to put the pasta on to dry. She also had dedicated wooden clothes rack to hang the longer pastas on to dry.

You can take that glob of noodles that was left and cut them up small and put them in soup. Then they don't go to waste.

You had me laughing when you asked him how he liked his construction worker phone. My husband has gone through so many phones so we got him a CAT flip phone and it's lasted almost 2 years now. He's dropped it, ran over it with a tractor, and a cow stepped on it and shoved it in the mud but it's still working. 🤣🤣🤣

My MIL made Hungarian grated noodles. Very stiff dough that she grated on a box grater. They were easier to air dry because they dried on trays. They were about the size of barley. They were so good.

Gave my chives first haircut of the season, after lots of snipping and dehydrator, got 3 1/2 cups of dried chives, Now we wait till they grow some more and open the barber shop for the rest of the herbs.

I’ve learned a lot from you, ma’am! I feel like you’re my second mom! I am Italian- come from a long line of women who can cook- and I can feed an army- i do have a problem with portion control- after 2 days- dogs and cats get a snack( yes I know what they can and cannot have) I don’t think Howie will ever say you made a bad meal! He knows you’re doing your best with everything! As is He!! Just like me!! I’ve got me hubby and my dad- dad is disabled(100% military ) and can’t do much; and gets not much pension - hubby; works many hours so I can take care of dad. I Homestead And I also do a farm to table beef business to help support us. That’s really a lot of work! I really appreciate Howie! He will never say you made a bad meal!! God bless you, Bev and Howie! Love you both!!

Sorry i missed you today but this week was infusion week and we had a funeral tonight. A friend of over 40 years. Poor thing had dementia the last 4 years. He was a peach! This supper looks delish except the mushrooms! Lol! It's gonna be sandwiches for us next week! Suppose to get to 99° one day! Gotta get the air conditioners cleaned up. Scott can't breath when it gets that hot!

metal coat hanger is how my grandmother used to do hers on saturday when I was little I remember them hanging up and she would cut them with a pizza cutter toss in dry flour and hang over the metal coat hangers she had cleaned for sunday lunch love your channel by the way

I did that the first time I made noodles. I was given two flats of duck eggs for free. So I started making noodles. Rolling the dough out as thin as I could and then rolling ig up and slicing the noodles. We had a who winter of noodles in the freezer!

Hi Bev. When I got a bunch of eggs, I spend the day and make egg noodles. I have a floured mess in my kitchen for one day, but at the end of the day, I have tons of noodles. Yes, just like you, I get my clothes rack and hang noodles on that. It works wonderfully. It's so much better than Boughton egg noodles and a lot cheaper to.

We use life proof phone cases. Expensive but awesome. They have been dropped out of semis, down a flight of stairs to the concrete floor and numerous other things. I swear by them.
