Correction: New Baleno comes with 3 point seat-belts for the middle passenger as well. It didn’t have it till last year.

Don't do it. I drove the 2016 CVT Baleno for a year. Fronx Delta Plus feels like a downgrade from that. Ended up buying the Nexon for about 50k more before the facelift.

Fuel efficiency കുറയാൻ main reason union സർക്കാരിന്റെ greedy & breakneck 20% Ethanol blended പെട്രോൾ ആണ്. I have a K15B XL6 which has done just 15,000kms. In normal conditions it used to deliver around 13-17kmpl, now that's become 11-14kmpl. Power and torque too is lower than before. The government could have been kind enough to atleast provide normal Ethanol free petrol at a premium of ₹6-7 like in most other countries, but their brute power has made them heart less.

I was really impressed with it's design, but the back seat wasn't really that comfortable because of the recline angle. I feel like i20 Nline (now that we get a manual transmission) might be a better option compared to this one in terms of more features, better back seat etc....but different segments according to the manufacturers.

Love the name fronx. I own the delta plus. I upgraded from Hyundai grand i10 diesel asta o. A sense of pride and happiness rushes through my mind whenever I start driving this car. May b the shift from manual to amt or the increased size are the reasons. One down side I see is that the steering is a bit stiff. Also very low mileage compared to my old i10. But sacrifices need to made. But I am totally happy with this car

I am a really proud fan of my brand but this name calling isn't doing any good to Tata fans either. Let's accept the fact that Tata's models are built like a tank when compared to Maruti/Hyundai's, but GNCAP was more of a marketing exercise. Let's wait for BNCAP.

@@Suvik6198 Yes bro, liked the ride. But was let down by the interior; plastics felt cheapy and the driver and co-driver were sitting too close. And to top it off, the ergonomics felt weird. Within a 15 minute test drive, I was feeling difficult to even reach the power window switches. Maybe I'm used to the space inside my Tata Zest 😅

@@sachinsadanandan of course the plastic quality in the interior is cheaper when you compare some other cars. I understand your point with space in front seats. The reason why I recommended it was for the following reasons 1. In similar price point of delta plus it given a great bit of safety features and 4* safety rating 2. Features like side airbags. Rear ac vents , reverse camera,keyless push button start , height adjustment of seat, driver armrest, cooled glove box etc. 3. Feel good features like cruise control, digital instrument cluster, driving style ratings, armrest in back , seat back pockets The variant above delta + compensate a lot to the price though

Great review, I have actually booked the delta plus 1.2L version myself. I got many insights from your review and comparisions which is great as I am not a car guy. But I have to review the direction and videography of this review as I am a video guy, A review for the review. I haven't got to see the exact shots of Fronx driving on the road then coming close to the camera , which gave me chills on to see my car closeup to match my enthusiasm which I haven't seen in any other review videos. Outdoor shots have several good shots of Sliding left and see what it would like to see Fronx sprint from a person standing off the road, Pan right to see Fronx taking a right turn, indicators blinking , the side profile... it was amazing. All the shots have good lighting and best frames. Although the most appreciable shot is from inside the car. Most of the time people would place the right end of the frame with the talking head to fill the shot with the person talking and driving attention there, but here the frame went wide and gave a nice view of the back door glass, which gave an excellent view on how the stability of the car was maintained while taking deep curves and rush driving. To see the view shifting on the back glass while taking curves was a pleasure to my eyes. This review got good videography skills and good technical and user acceptance analysis. Try to upgrade the lighting for the interior and bring back some of image quality of the camera used for interior would take the video to top notch. Waiting for another review
