What does it mean to be spiritually strong in a world that wants you to be weak and dependent? Spiritual strength is often scorned by many people in the modern world who misunderstand what it means to be strong. Modern society and culture propagate the false view that strength is weakness and weakness is strength. Based on such an illogical view, a war is being waged on your soul, and sadly, most people are succumbing to an ideology of control and division without even being aware of the war being waged. In the great spiritual traditions of the world, the perspective of strength and weakness is completely different from that of a materialist world, giving one the strength to deal with anything that comes their way. A spiritually strong individual is a threat to an overarching system yearning for control. Learn what it means to be spiritually strong from the sane minds of the great spiritual traditions.

Most people believe in authoritarianism and "the hierarchy". I see this in religion, politics, and during 40 years of observing people while working in the corporate world as a blue-collar worker, and especially while serving in the military.

It's the carnal mind. As long as the mind is earth bound the ego will have that animalistic / tribalistic view of the world. That is why changing to a vegetarian diet is such a powerful catalyst to a transformation in consciousness. You literally kill the carnal mind bit by bit and begin building a more bening and compassionate mind. It starts with the food ❤

Young people as a primary source of violence to me seems minimal relative to the structural violence of corporations, governments and militaries...But of course its safer to point out young people then corporations who use all kinds of media games and propaganda to nullify their opponents. Its a kind of master game in who gets to control the official narrative, a kind of War waged through storytelling.Which makes sense we are a Storytelling Animal~its a key to our great powers.Though we likely need to place a prime importance into the Skills and Arts of Communication as key to our continuing evolution? Good communications will reduce violence dramatically

Mind is the master power that molds and makes. We are minds and even more we take. The tools of thoughts in shaping what we will bring forth a thousand joys and a thousand ills. We think in secret it comes to pass. Our world is but our looking glass.

In vedic philosophy, physical conflict and violence are not exactly the same thing. Violence intends harm. Non-violence protects from harm. So when two fight, which one is violent? The one that intends harm is the one that is violent. The one that protects from harm is non-violent, despite both using battle to express their intention. This protection from harm is born from compassion. This is the true warrior. His heart is full of compassion, and that drive allows him to express his non-violent intention of protection and will enter battle to do so. Physical conflict shouldn't be conflated with violence with respect to a warrior.

Who controls the narrative controls perception. We control our own narrative. Or not. Our choice. Now is constant/eternal. Perception is variable/temporal. Legal fiction, or living man or woman? Their jurisdiction ends at the border of consent.

Jason, please research Nate Zeleznick and watch what they're doing and talking about, you're missing out one of the most profound thing pertaining to spirit that they are doing, I cannot say this enough with dignity and integrity in my heart. I know you got a channel to run and things to worry about but the topic of spirituality is the center focus of your daily life, its at least worth the research of those guys. I'm not just spamming you about something you already know, I believe if people can see the link of spiritual teachings and what the Zeleznick brothers are doing, it has the ability to save the world from out mental illness and egoic desires if brought forth to the mainstream. Please interview them.

Thank you for the video on this subject. I’ve had this question about taking action in being a force for change. I am awake and spiritual. Doing nothing does not do it for me. I feel that I am the warrior. Others say I’m living in ego. I say “does your car wash itself because you want it clean”. No, you have to physically move to do it. I understand both sides of the equation but doing nothing has rewarded me with exactly that- nothing. Help?

i hope that your idea of spirituality is not to be a Rock and actually DO NOTHING , if it is , that you misunderstood the whole "spirituality " thing , and is time to reassess . also i hope you are not confusing spirituality with meditation because spirituality is NOT meditation . Meditation is a tool to be used while spirituality is a knowing of yourself that promotes right ACTION in the world because of that knowing . You definitely did not come on this earth to be a rock and do nothing . The Knowing also called "spirituality " can be achieved by using the tool /method called meditation . other tools can be used as well

It seems like you're mistaking ignorance with independent thinking. People of the past reading the single bible for whole their life, or even being illiterate, thought independently, I would doubt this. Spending years with such simple people I wouldn't romatisize them, I'd rather say they mostly don't have the process we consider thinking. They have thoughts in their mind for sure, but they don't know how to follow them to come to logically correct conclusions.

I appreciate these messages but after everything I've experienced I can't help but laugh. These messages have some merit but they simply are not practical in many situations. It reminds me of how many martial arts are completely useless when applied against someone who isn't using the same martial art or no martial art at all. When you're in the thick of life pacifism is often not only impossible but if it is attempted will have catastrophic consequences. Someone who is hell bent on killing you and your family next isn't going to be stopped by anything less than violence. They will not stop to hear your philosophical insights on Confucius and Dharma or the upanishads. Hatred and violence are a fact of life and a necessary component for growth. When life calls for it that is.
