Real talk, this game probably exists because of a Sonic Forces trailer. People were jokingly speculating that the new third character (which turned out to be the custom character) was going to be bubsy because of his silhouette. This game was announced shortly after because the creator mistook it for actual enthusiasm for bubsy

@N M Yep I had lotsa fun and got paid of course. But why the hatred for this game? Is it cool to call Bubsy bad? Following some mainstream BS is not my thing. The game series isn't half as bad as people try to make it. Bubsy 3d on PS1 is trash ok, but on SNES it's a solid platformer and the version I made the music for, is decent as well.
