I think it’s really rude that people have actually left comments saying she eats a lot of junk food like she’s not in recovery. People really need to be careful with the things they say cause it can be very harmful. I’ve been watching you’re journey for sometime now and watching you face your food fears and watching you progress in beating your ED has been phenomenal to watch you’re doing amazing Ro don’t give up.

Yes, feels like those people are really missing the context. Everyone's situation is different, and people will be in different situations throughout different points in their life. Right now for her and many of her viewers who are going through the same thing, whether or not they're eating "too much junk food" is simply not what's important, and even bringing up that idea is likely to do more harm than good.

I have seen comments saying crap about someone who eats "junk food" because it's "bad for you blabla bla bla", and on the other hand there are people who tell others that they are not in real recovery because they don't eat those things. It's so exhausting that whatever you do is never enough for some people and I really wish that everyone could just heal in peace. Sigh.

Honestly? I myself don't suffer from anorexia, but your videos were once recommended to me when I was browsing KZfaq in the middle of the night, after waking up from a nightmare, scared and desperate. I watched one of them and thought, if she can handle THIS, then I can handle my life as well! Your strength and, at the same time, your vulnerability and authenticity are incredibly inspiring. I'm a 4 yr sober addict/alcoholic and my recovery was hard and tiring! My brain constantly telling me "take a pill, take a pill, take a freaking PILL!!!!" Like literally every second and I just knew if I did I'd feel SO MUCH better and my stupid brain would shut up. But I had to argue with myself like "no you stupid brain. That pill isn't good for me and it's making me underweight and sick" and every day it felt so hard to not give in but everyday it also didn't feel as hard as it did on day one. And now, 4 years later without a drink or drug, I am just so proud of myself and I feel free of that addiction that left me so powerless. You're so strong to fight your brain and push past the hard part. I send my love and am so excited to watch this recovery ♡

I just wanted to say, I don’t think I have an eating disorder, but for a while now I’ve been overly conscious of what and how much I’m eating. I’ve never been good with understanding my hunger signals, I usually just eat either when/if I feel like it, or when I feel unwell because I’m so hungry, but your videos have really helped me to not slip further into an ED, because of your positivity and courage! When you say things like “one croissant isn’t going to define whether you gain weight or not”, and that you should “honour your body’s signals”, it just helps so much 🥺💕 you’re doing so much good in this world, and I’m so proud of how far you’ve come already on your recovery journey ✨💕✨

yes!! and that's so good of you to understand that you do not want to go deeper into it. you have to trust the facts, not always what that voice is telling you. because that happens with everyone, you start slow and tell yourself you don't have a problem, but before you know it its out of control and you're really sick. wherever you are with food, ed or not, it is really hard. but you can push out of it at any time, and you can overcome it. you got this!! xx

I think EDs exist on a spectrum from DSM-5 definition to how we perceive food socially, mentally, and physically. With 'diet culture' being ever so present, we are constantly categorizing 'good' vs 'bad' foods. Also, it is often hard to realise how serious something is without an outside perspective. i was just rewatching your old videos whilst having breakfast (was a tough one, but seeing you face your fears encouraged me to keep going), and when you ate the ice cream i felt so proud. when i was younger, we'd always have ice cream on friday night while watching a film or a series, typically with warm blankets on the sofa. i haven't joined in in for over 2 years. i haven't faced ice cream, and recently i went through a bad relapse (i'm trying to get better again, but it's so hard). i don't know where i'm going with this, just wanted to share how happy i am you made it and i hope to be as free from this horrible illness as you someday🫶

i've been struggling so much with recovery recently and I feel like I'm slowly relapsing.. today is rly hard especially, lunch was extremely stressful and eating my snacks and dinner seems impossible right now but I'm rewatching this to feel less alone and to remind myself that I am stronger than those urges to restrict and that in the end, my life and well being are more important than a few extra pounds which sounds silly but is so hard to accept when you're in that headspace. you're one of the only reasons why I keep on fighting everyday, thank you for everything you do ro

I LOVE listening to your positive self-talk.🌻 Also, remember that your body can't distinguish a release of adrenaline as fear or excitement. It's great how you acknowledge you are nervous but revel in the excitement of having the peanut butter.

I have been watching since your first video popped up in my recommendations and I want to express that the pride I feel for someone halfway across the globe who I have never met is beyond measure. I think the greatest and most dramatic change I can see from where you started up to where you are now is how much more energy, confidence, silliness, and personality you exude. I feel like with every new video, we get to see you connect a little deeper with and revive the true Ro. You smile more, you're more animated. That to me is the most dramatic change, and it's beautiful to witness. So thank you for sharing your journey with us, Ro. You have so much to be proud of!
