Great video! Thanks! When you superimpose that sort of ii - (tritone ii V) - I into a progression like you did, did you adjust your right hand melody playing to accomodate those out of key chords? Or is the sort of rub between that added in (tritone ii - V) a part of the tension that is pleasing to the ear? Also, you mentioned how you have to be careful with your subs and how they play against the melody of a song, does the tritone sub count for this? Will it generally clash with a chord tone of the dominant chord that's in the melody? I ask because I know it shares the two main notes with the regular dominant anyway - the 3 and 7. Thanks!

Stricktly speaking, only the tritone substitution you showed there is a true substitution - your other examples are chords you ADDED to the changes according to harmonic rules (like the Idim7 - I major variant of the plagal cadenza).
