I didn't realize that Radknight and Skadi's S2 would be so close vs so much armor as I thought that the DEF ignore would play a bigger role, fascinating.

I'd like to point out one more thing since most people dont know about her "Hidden Mechanic" If you use S3 with your last deployed operator being from Kazimierz, the Blazing Sun deals an ***additional*** instance of True damage (exactly the same as how Nearl's own talent works) when it lands. We are talking about EXTRA 3k~ TRUE DAMAGE aka a Chapter 10 cannon strike. This is also explained in the skill description of The Blazing Sun itself when you click on it while its on the field. You can check whether the Kazimierz passive is active by looking at Nearl's swordspear: If it is glowing, the Sun will deal an extra hit. Not sure if you've already factored in that 2nd nuke instance into your Burst DPS calculations.

11:55 Also worth noting that if the Blazing Sun falls directly onto the enemy it counts as Blocking and 115% damage boost from the trait also took place upon the initial hit so you doesn't actually need Nearl to block the enemy first for the boost

Personally, I still think that Nearlter's S2 is her strongest skill. Sure, true damage is rare. Sure, S1 does impressive damage. BUT. The sheer combination of damage and resilience in S2, combined with the AoE stun and the shields... can be just plain bullshit. She's absolutely brilliant in blind runs, and can can turn a failure into a success easily simply by being that emergency "oh shit!" button that saves your ass when something you didn't expect pops up. We have options for lane-holding... a lot of them really. We have options for boss-killing, heli-drops and everything in between... But an ignore deploy-limit oh shit button? This is entirely unique to Nearlter.

Damn, I’ve never watched this channel, but that voice was so smooth and real I didn’t even realize it was AI! Great video! Nearl has been a very useful operator in my kit, and it’s good that you’re going over her skills and abilities.

I feel like Skadi might want a guide/overview at some point. Her second module has really breathed some life into her imo making her almost a fast-redeploy. I find myself using her a fair bit now.

Another fun tidbit about NTR's S2 is that NTR herself counts as a Kazimierz operator, so if you are taking full advantage of her being a deployment free helidrop (full squad already out), you don't have to worry about the extra 25% deployment time increase. Adding to that is that her base redeploy time stays the same like a summon, so after triggering the passive with herself her redeploy time will actually reflect the lower time! (70 sec when deployed after Kazimirez, 87.5 sec without)

man, i'm glad these operator reviews are back. i'd always heard how strong this Nearl was but i had trouble wrapping my head around her kit. It would have been great to remember she had true damage against those evasive seaborn enemies a while ago! XD

gravel module now also reduces deployment time of other kazimierz operators making her synergy with nearl s2 even stronger.

Pretty solid video, and I agree, NTR is definitely worth M9'ing. Granted, my stance with 1 block ops is that they generally need to be maxed out to get their full value. I can't particularly comment on the skill priority or what's considered her top tier skill. Generally speaking, I supposed S3 is best for general content, but in CC, her S2 saved me on multiple accounts due to the deployment ignore passive. S1 I've never thought to use cause I have ops like Blaze and whatnot, but all the points you made are completely valide. Overall, great video!

M9 is a popular opinion with me. Mine's been M9 since she came out. Then again, my Blemishine is also M9, and my Whislash and regular Nearl are both M6. Being part of that family seems to get me to spend resources.

So many people focus on S2/S3, but her S1 for routine maps is busted. I have her M9’d, and typically prefer her over Blaze for lane holding. She doesn’t need extra block typically as everyone just dies before they reach her, due to her insane dmg/attack speed, combined with her long range. I love her versatility to switch it up and use her other two busted skills as well, but for lane holding, too many people skip her S1. Just plain busted. Does even more dmg than my maxed out Thorns by a chunk.

Most likely strongest operator in the game with all 3 skills useful. Most people use her for skill 2 for me she's in my core team with skill1 . Such a good skill beating blaze damage great for general stages and integrated strategies.

m9 Nearl Alter is the way to go - her S1 is so fun to use and really helps in dealing with harder enemies. Or in Annihilation in finishing those poor souls that survived Horn and Fia bombardment.

im still iffy with the vocal bgm, but honestly i can look at the pretty horse poking enemies while listening to what her kit is. so big W also this one is a bit nitpicky. but when describing range tiles, wouldn't it be better to say it as "one by three" instead of "one times three"? just a thought edit: in the chance that u see this, will u ever do a guide on horn? i feel like there are still people who thinks shes not that great just because of her range, or only thinks about her s3, when her entire skill set is greatly versatile

TL;DR - NTRK is amazing. I've used NTRK a lot ever since she released and exclusively on S1. Back then majority of the reviews, comments and feedback I hear regarding Nearl was she was either S2/S3. And a lot also said she's a skip because she's not "meta". I pity those that listened to those as she's amazing at what she does, and that's to put out DPS. No matter what enemy, she will shred them. Despite being 1 block, she can easily hold a lane even without healing soley due to her high DPS that has zero downtime (except obviously at the beginning before her S1 activates) I've thought of M3ing her S2 and S3 but only for completion's sake, it's never happened where I wanted to use her on another skill unlike e.g. Pozy where I switch between S1 and S3 regularly and I sometimes think about using S2 but it's not M3 yet.

Finally managed to catch a Dreamy video pretty early! Woot woot Edit after watching the video: Ah shoot, I should have worked on her skill 2 M3 first... Oof.

Hmm, it seems like people are liking your style of narrated videos. That's good. That said, the same can't really be said for me. I prefer just reading the text on the screen since it was kinda like reading a guide but with BGM and background gameplay. Honestly, for me at least, the addition of narration is just distracting. But hey, you do what you want most with your videos. Don't let this single comment discourage you. After all, it's impossible to please everyone.

M9 candidate? Before Nearl 6* was released, I never thought that would ever be a thing for a Dreadnought guard. I didn't really care for the archetype. But I have been converted. Not only do I use all three skills of Nearl, I also find that I've been using Skadi (with modules) from time to time as well. I haven't yet M9'd my Nearl (only M6), but it is on my to do list. I use her S2 and S3 more frequently, but I've used her S1 in place of Mountain when he is less practical.

i think the ai voice came out nice. im not sure what needs to be adjusted on the back end but the only real issue was that it didnt seem to want to stick to an accent. But i think it added alot to the feel of the video.

Hey Dreamy, great vid! How important would you say is Nearl's Lvl 3 Module? I use her Skill 2 a lot, and have the Lvl 1 Module, it seems really expensive, and I'm not sure how much better it makes her, especially since S3 can do true damage also. I want to M3 S1 eventually, but have so many other things I'm working on right now.

Pallas still beats her with the amount of caveats Nearl has. But that can stay between us~
