THIS IS A DELICIOUS RECIPE THAT FEATURES ORANGE CHICKEN...IF YOU'VE NEVER TRIED IT..YOU'RE IN FOR A SURPRISE!
Recipe
3 lbs. Chicken breasts or thighs
1 -18 oz. jar Sweet Orange Marmalade
1 cup Sweet Baby Rays Sweet Onion barbecue sauce
2 Tbs. Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp. Ground Ginger
1 cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 cup Corn starch
2 beaten eggs
Oil for frying
Cut up Chicken into cubes as shown in the video
In a bowl combine flour and cornstarch
In another bowl add the 2 eggs
add all chicken to the egg bowl and mix well coating all the chicken well as shown in the video
Take a few chicken pieces at a time and place in Flour/Cornstarch bowl and coat the Well and set them in another plate. Do All the chicken like this until all are battered. Deep fry OR Fry in a frying pan until golden brown and set aside.
In a sauce pan add the Orange Marmalade, BBQ sauce, Soy Sauce, Ginger powder and Garlic powder...heat on Medium low heat for about 10 minutes until all has melted together stirring constantly
Place Chicken in a Frying pan (I used a 12 inch cast iron but any will do as long as it's big enough) Add Orange sauce and heat on Medium heat for about 10 minutes folding the chicken and coating well with the sauce. Serve Immediately...Makes 4 servings..ENJOY!!
