Thanks for the vid Joël. Precedence is a plugin I've seen and heard of often. As far as I know there's no equivalent for Cubase, is there? "Virtual Sound Stage" claims to do the same thing but causes a lot of latency. The problem you describe is one of the most tricky techniques to deal with (I agree with Germain). Would panning the reverb itself adjust any annoying narrowed audio result?

I wouldn't pan the reverb unless it's hard panned L/R and you use two reverbs. Panning reverb halfway sounds narrow. Virtual sound stage is a bit effecty, I didn't manage to make it transparent enough for it to work with wet samples.

Precedence is much better imo! Especially for libraries. I don't use panagement at all
