Orruk Warboss on Wyvern RE-RELEASE

So I have been getting some requests for updated versions of some older videos that are on this channel. A lot of my old videos were made entirely and uploaded from my iPhone 7. I wanted to keep things simple and accessible when I started making videos which worked really well for time management and getting things done easily. The downside of course is that the quality was not great and my choices of music were pretty much limited to what iMovie had available, hence the pretty awful 30 second loop of really bad music. I also didn't want to record voice when I started so I just typed everything in!
Now we are here and things are a bit different! I can't thank you all enough for the support over the last few months, and all the amazing feedback that has helped make this channel what it is. I will continue trying to make better videos and bringing content that I think will interest everyone, regardless of game type or model. So thank you for joining me for this re-release of the Orruk Warboss and I will see you in the next video!

Thank you for reuploading, looking forward to reuploads of other vids! Your current style better fits the quality of your painting. And I really like the ebay-rescue theme, maybe you can find some really damaged miniatures to bring back to life!

Hey man I am not really into painting and have not done any warhammer in 12 years, but I love your content as I enjoy seeing the progress to the end product. Hey man, these re-edirs are a great way to extend the content you've already produced and, because of KZfaq algorithms, bring you back in the people's feeds. The really sensible choice for you to make. The production quality is also super great

Was literally watching the 3rd part of the orignal set of videos when my email notified me on this video being released! Have only seen the first 30 seconds and already the superb quality that you have developed over your KZfaq career is shining through! Thanks for all of the effort on your part, gives me a great excuse to watch this rescue again! :D

@@eBayMiniatureRescues yeah, man. always good to get constructive criticism. as for vids to re-voice, i'd love to see the ones from your Sylvaneth with a voice over. I listen to your vids and others as I paint so i'm not always paying attention to the extent of reading 😅

absolutely! and without it this channel would still be just like those older videos... The Sylvaneth ones are primed for a redo, the music is already much better lol, they are definitely in the queue :)

Aah cant wait to get my old Warriors of Chaos from my parents house and repaint them. Thanks for re-igniting the painting itch. Love the music too, so many tiny artists that would've otherwise stayed unknown to me.

Another great video sir, i'm normally watching these on my phone on the train then writing the comment when i get to a PC and now that i see it bigger i think i'm missing alot by not watching on a larger screen so i'll try to rewatch some i think. Anyway, once again very enjoyable, well cut well edited and well timed.. when i first found your vids i went back and watched all your previous vids but stopped at the ones you don't narrate so i'm very glad you're going back and curating some of your older vids, it gives me more to watch. I, like i guess a lot of others prefer narrated videos to written ones.. i'm not even sure why :) thanks again, looking forward to your next vid and your next re-edit. Cheers

I suppose there are some ways that you could explain away the blue on the weapon. In this instance it looks almost like a glow, as if the weapon is imbued with some kind of magic, blessed by Gork or Mork, contains liberated metals with Dwarven runes or something of the sort. I mean the dude has a Wyvern so clearly has a few more resources than the average Ork. Anyways, great video. Keep it up!

Glad you liked the video! I think if I shot the weapons with an airbrush and gave them a little more of that color then I probably could get away with calling it some sort of Gork or Mork magic. Definitely a good idea :) How did he get that Wyvern anyway? lol

I really enjoy watching these videos, i don't have time for this anymore so it reminds of my childhood! When you Day "i choose this colour because of other models i want to match", it would be cool if you showed one or more of those briefly so we can see what you mean. Cheers!

This is probably my favorite of your paint jobs, me and you have an obviously different style since i taint to aim for grubby and worn designs while you go for more bright lively colors. This one looks great to me and i think you have a real flair for Ork paint jobs. Id love to see what you could do with a Stompa or a battlewagon or...*gasp* a squiggoth.

That ain't just an Orc warboss... that's Azhag The Slaughterer! One of the saddest things about the change to AoS is the loss of great characters like this lunatic. He even wears Nagash's hat!

Agreed , I’m a little sad that some of these awesome models pretty much lost all their backstory. This one in particular is so awesome. Still, I’m gonna hold out a little bit of hope for the old world re release, maybe this fella will get some rules!

Nevermind the patina on the axe being "wrong". This lad is a major warboss so chances are he's got a magic weapon and those oxidize exactly as they please.

uh, haven't you noticed that on the helmet of wyvern after you made red stripes, you ripped off some agrax with the tape, and it looks brighter? it was bothering me half the video.

I have never played Bolt Action, I do happen to own a few models though (randomly acquired through a subscription box a few years ago). I would be up for doing some, but I don't know the market for used minis for that game system. If you have any suggestions for a model that is maybe hard to find, or something that is popular within Bolt Action, let me know, and I will set up a notification on ebay, if something pops up for a good price I wouldn't be apposed to picking something up :)

Just says the axe was a poorly mixed Iron-Copper composite. Or you know it is Orcish Iron and good luck to someone trying to explain to an Orc that it should't work that way when an Orc thinks it does.

I mean, go for it, its probably easier to just revoice the original videos than to make a whole new one, especially if you did the effort the 1st time
