Glad the place was finnally finished correctly. Your right you never know what you will get until you see it for yourself. Well you plan to move to another place make it your home and for sure you will be spending alot of time in Mexico. I want you both to enjoy the time there and looking forward to seeing your adventures . Keep safe and i do like the lolcation and the plce you are residing. It's not the salt water that corrodes metal here, it's the salt air. Salt water does not come in to homes. And high quality fixtures also eventually relent to the salt air. Motto: nothing lasts, everything breaks. Prices in Progeso have skyrocketed. That condo could easily get $1500 a month now. It's crazy! I LOVE my hammock. When I sleep in it, it's the only time I wake up without a sore back. When a house is on the water, the side that faces it is always the front - Anne

Lord knows I love the Philippines, took me 35 years to get back, but it has lost many of the things that set it apart from everywhere else. Now its turning into a mini US in a lot of the idiotic things that are happening. We may not end up getting planted here. Nice to see other options. Stay safe.

Oh come on Mercy & Eric I know your missing Fatima, Markos & the kids ,sad to say the typhoon RAI took out the Cebu airport, many absolutely devastated, makes me feel blessed to be in the USA but Mexican food in Mexico I'll take it anyday!

I am in Progreso trying to decide if I should stay or go back to Merida , I would love to see the apt complex you are in. I am on calle 27 and 86 Y 88 at Nicte Ha and it is 800.00 month and no flush tp!!! YIKES, water pressure is 0 and the hot water is kinda non existant. Thanks!

Toilet paper can't be flushed in most homes in Progreso. Maria, the owner of Nicte Ha is an absolute love.

So where are u staying and does that include electric? I have seen so many higher priced numbers and for me one person 750 sounds good. What a out the place u are moving to in the same complex same price on ground floor? And men always look, my bf he is always looking at the girls on the beach . :)

$750 was all in at the time we were there. Prices change all the time though of course. Ground floor unit was a little more but better in my opinion with the easy access to the grounds and the beach. Thanks for watching our videos!
