4 жыл бұрын

We went shark tooth hunting in Florida at a remote creek and found megalodon teeth by the handful. Fossil hunting in Florida for Megalodon teeth often brings us to beautiful remote locations like this one. The creek was absolutely loaded with shark teeth and we found over 1000 shark teeth in a single day for our fossil collection. Besides the shark teeth, we also found Ice age deposits and learned that the area was once a Native American camp in the Archaic period and that arrowheads and artifacts had been discovered here. Megalodon shark tooth hunting is an absolute adrenaline rush and we already cannot wait to get back to this location to find more of these killer Megalodon shark teeth!
Through exploring, Fossil hunting, and artifact hunting, we can make a physical connection to the history around us. We are passionate about that connection and want to share it with others. If you value this content, consider supporting us on Patreon so we can help others “dig science.”
/ diggingscience
We plan on hunting for a diversity of fossils all throughout the US this year with other fossil hunters such as Paleocris, Wild Kyle, Dig Dive Discover, Ancient Artworks, Shark Teeth and Fossils and Bone Valley Collections. We hope to find beautiful Megalodon teeth, gems and minerals, great white shark teeth, artifacts, arrowheads, and megafauna creatures like mammoths and mastodons. We will also include videos on how to fossil hunt in Florida and explore discussions on some of our favorite topics in paleontology, archeology, and geology!

At 10.11 when maddie finds the dolphin tooth....amazing. I’m in Alberta which was once covered by a sea and I never find teeth, all I ever find is shells and dinosaur bone really. I think the repeated ice ages may have either buried most of the shark teeth or they were destroyed by the retreating glacial ice. But I love looking

Dude you are awesome and I love your videos. Your knowledge and enthusiasm makes them so fun to watch! With that said, the camera work is giving me motion sickness lol. The excitement probably makes you forget about the camera and filming quality videos is already super hard. I will always watch your videos but thought I would offer some constructive feedback if you are open to it. I know the equipment is expensive and has to be hiked in but I think slowing down a little and focusing more on your shot is enough to make a big difference. Great finds btw! You guys really found some sick Hemi teeth and a great whale tooth. That is also the first time I have seen someone find barracuda teeth.👍👍👍

I think it is something to think about how these fossils of Megs are of juvenile size. Meaning the lower seas of the time Eocene Epoch and Pliocene of florida could of been breeding grounds. Just like today down in the lower part of SWFL is still shark breeding areas. Sharks were present in this area for over 23 million years. I live in Naples. Would like to bushwack with ya and dig.

I'm just wondering if the native American Indians would find the teeth you guys are finding and tie them to stick and use them as an arrow. No need to find a rock, I'm in New Port Richey FL, not many sizable rocks, the teeth are sharp already and look like they would work as arrows. This hunt looks so fun. Wish I were younger I'd love to slosh around in water. Enjoy your youth. 😘
