For the first time in 4 years we've got the whole family together for a holiday, spending the weekend at Forest Holidays Sherwood Forest. We love coming to this cabin in the woods - the hot tub, log fire and BBQ at the cabin are great, and we also got stuck into some of the activities available at Sherwood Pines including archery, watercolour painting and GoApe.

Tattershall Lakes. Get a lodge with a hot tub . You can find them with 3/4 bedrooms and it's normally a grand ish for a week

I remember I used to do archery in school which was awesome, then again we did it inside in a hall so watching the outdoor archery all I'm thinking is "Wait till the wind eases off and then loose!"

We stayed here in an accessible cabin for an outdoor concert at Sherwood Pines. Loved the cabin and area and seems to be a few more activities available now than when we went which is a good thing.

Happy Holidays ! Just a wee message to say I had surgery to repair a torn meniscus and ACL. Also had an interminiscal cyst removed 4 weeks ago . I'm in a leg brace , healing really well already. Hopefully Anna gets sorted soon!!

Hi Kev, I stay at a very similar style place called Kelling Heath, cabins and lodges in the woods and again a more localised and nicer Center Parks, worth the look!!

Stayed in a place called Goosedale Lodges near Nottingham earlier this year. 4 of us, but can accomodate up to 8. Prices WAY cheaper than Forest Hols/Centre Parcs and nicer cabin in our opinion. Only downside is no activities on site, but plenty in travel distance.

I’ve worked for haven holidays in the past and hopefully in the future, you say it’s the next step down, but you are still saying over a grand a week in middle of summer

Hi Kevin chapman recently you put up a survey about different questions id just like to say i watch your videos not just once but multiple times and do find a lot off time videos for some reason aren't showing up on KZfaq i type your name in the search bar half the time to find recent vlogs/videos because off this, I've tried all sorts it not i don't like watching they don't always show up, i enjoy multiple videos on your channel and always go back and watch old videos aswell which is a lot off times i like your intros a lot however i do like your style off your videos and have always come back for more and more i think the main problem is there not always showing up on KZfaq and people aren't getting notifications cause i know i don't loved this video cant wait too see more videos soon

Just to help with the supermarket situation wouldn't the asda or tesco in Ollerton be closer (around 10-15 minutes from forest holidays) than going to Mansfield to go shopping. Can get click and collect from the tesco but not the asda in Ollerton.

Parkdean warmwell has lodges or Butlins but it's not like centre parks or forest holidays

Definitely worth trying Potters Leisure Resort - hotel and lodge options, tonnes of activities, great food and priced really well (lots of deals etc!) We used to go as a family a few years ago and have tonnes of good memories :)

Brilliant video, good to see the whole weekend in one video. Seems like with the weather it would have been a struggle to get more content from the trip and also on holiday I imagne you don't and the family don't want a camera stuck infront of them all the time

It is abit more if u stay at the weekend during the week day it's abit cheaper and it's 4 nights my recommendation is to go in may it's alot cheaper then the summer months.
