Actually i love it that Izzy comes to kinda get the Arc full circle. He had loved Ed, so he feared that Stede would change him. But now Ed truly had changed for the worse, so he sees his fault, and wished that it never ended like this.

It didn't occur to me until I saw the scene again now that Ed was willingly breaking the record of Ned Low.

It's so cruel. I know Ed is hurting. I know part of why he is hurting is Izzy's fault, but it's the callousness. Good or bad Izzy has been in love with Ed, for years. He has been devoted to him. Ed has used that to his advantage as much as Izzy has used Blackbeard. They both hurt each other. I think after everything they have been to each other, the indifference must hurt Izzy more than the bullet, more than losing the leg maybe. Wow funny comedy show😢

I genuinely didn’t think Taika had this in him.

Izzy finally becoming vulnerable and trying to make Ed understand what he's doing to the crew is so sad. He admits he loves Ed and Ed rebuffs him but Izzy sticks to his guns and says "We're all worried about you". Izzy is probably the only worried in a loving way. The crew is probably waiting to be massacred by Ed or somebody else.

🤣 "if we could all just maybe, TALK IT THROUGH" ....lord i love these subtle "thinking man's " jokes! lol expected line was: "if we could all, just maybe GET A LONG" (if one has to explain WHY no sense in explaining)
