Marina's mother is absolutely beautiful. I am about the same age as her (I live in Scotland, the mother to 4 adult sons), and I can so imagine the huge mix of emotions that Marina's mother must be feeling, as she leaves Warsaw and you three, and heads for home - to "destruction and despair", as she describes it. This was a very beautifully expressed narrative of the birth of your precious first child, and the equally precious month long visit of Marina's mother, to you all, and to the West for the first time ever. Well done James - I really loved this, and I love how you honour your mother in law. And I love it how she smiles and is so strong and brave, despite having to leave you all without knowing when she will see you again, and with that very arduous bus journey ahead of her. What an amazing woman - no wonder Marina is as she is. Huge congratulations on the safe arrival of your daughter!

Sadpol, plantacja truskawek. Od maja - gdy zaczynają owocować pierwsze krzewy - właściciel potrzebował ponad 1000 osób do zbioru truskawek na 500 hektarach. Firmowe autokary zwoziły zbieraczy z wsi odległych od pola nawet o 60 km. Mimo, że dobrze płacił, było coraz mniej chętnych do pracy, bo praca przy zbiorach jest ciężka, trzeba być schylonym przez cały czas. Zaorał pole z powodu braku pracowników. Na miejsce truskawek posadził krzewy porzeczek i malin, z których owoce może zbierać maszyna.
