I’ve got a pond on my hunting lease that three beavers have moved in to. The landowner wants them gone so I guess I’m goin to set some traps for them tomorrow or Thursday one.

hey Dave happy New Year merry Christmas to you and your family hope the traplines producing for you listen I got a question for you regarding 330 conibear traps I'm having problems with the triggers there loose their older traps how do I tighten them up I've replaced the triggers already but I'm just wondering about filing the dogs like their loose

I think you can still buy replacement dogs for them as well. Also you might have replaced the triggers with ones designed for a different trap.

I’d like to live where the lakes froze over like that to ice fish. I’ve always wanted to go ice fishing. It don’t get cold enough here in Tn to freeze the lakes thick enough to walk on.

I’ll have to set some coil springs and long springs for them I can’t get out in the water to set some coni bear traps for them. Maybe my plan will work. I’m goin to try to catch one in a live trap. I have a big live trap I’ll put some smaller poplar sticks in it maybe he will go in it.

Steve Dingman ok I’ll get a couple a local hardware store sells snares and some trapping supplies. What size would I need?? I’ve never used snares I’ve always steel trapped. Thank you

Randle Richardson 3/32 7x7 strand is plenty for beaver just use stakes or wire it about 24-30 inches above on a tree so beaver won’t chew off Tree and escape ! Set on slides to there food !

Randle Richardson anytime and good luck 🍀 if wanna increase your chances grab a beaver lure be sure it has castor in it ! Smear a bit at waters edge and then a big glob past your snare !
