puppypaw really played this game like a textbook case of statefare - using his weaker neighbor as a natural barrier between himself and stronger enemies, pincering the purple opponent from two different angles, one by land and one by sea, and not taking that extremely difficult fight against avely in the middle until he had the population to do so - beautifully done.

Avely fought off Capoch, then won against Blade, defended against 3D!Bee, threw back puppypaw two times and took out units from kauP and coRe. GUA was dead too fast to never have known the sword of Avely. Push him in a corner, he becomes a wild animal defending its... i'd say puppy, but that one's coRe I guess haha

Hi drongo. I love his octagon mode, its new and interesting content. I have to say tho, the players unlucky enough to spawn in the middle never seem to have fun. The corner players always seem to thrive. It is no wonder core did not attack puppy, he was less aggressive than kaup. Damn, he even felt safe enough to put his kind near there. Anyways, keep up the good content drongo!

I'd love to see a couple matches like this one, but where the treaty lasts for like 30 minutes, or an hour, just to see how they prepare, set up, sabotage, build up armies, defences etc, when everyone is able to expand heavily. Maybe a 2v2v2v2 or a 4v4 like this

mixed feelings about the win here, I definitely don't think they were working together, but it was a pretty massive throw by core to ignore him and shield him, allowing him to boom+bank up, snipe core, and then wipe the map with a massive force. very well played by all except the one who clearly didn't even practice a single nomad game xD xD

honestly puppypaw is a good player and I love the play he made but it was all due to core not even trying to eliminate or attack him, literally puppypaw had a guardian angel attacking and defending for him while he grows and I like that puppypaw utilised that core didn't care for him and actually scouted Kaup with the attacking ships at the beginning and I think the moment he knew where kaup's king was and knew he was able to take care of him like he did, he just decided to eliminate core right there... totally Core's mistake to let a very close and dangerous enemy grow like that and even make the king sit right beside his wall like giving his king on a plate.

I think there should be one more score level for "good plays" from the judges. Because if not the players who are in the corners seems to have huge advantages.

not necessarily, if you watch the last one corners can be dangerous if you get pincered because there's nowhere to run. compare that to Avely this game who was able to move into the centre of the map and bounce back

i like this mode. i dont think players work together. but like in real war, sometimes motives align. strategy ensues. idk im not crazy about FFA but these videos making me want to change my mind and give em a fewm ore rounds

Is it possible to see who is inside your enemy's buildings? If not, I feel like a good tactic could be to hide the king in one place, then hide 1 person in every single other building possible, maybe multiple in a couple of them to make them extra sus
