Please share in the comments if you have any retinol tips! If you haven't used retinol before I would highly suggest googling it first because it's a strong product and can be kind of tricky at first. Hopefully you're already wearing SPF everyday but when you use retinol it's especially important to protect your skin! I forgot to mention it in the video but I also regularly use The Ordinary Niacinamide Serum and Lumene Nordic-C Glow Boost Essence to try to combat hyperpigmentation.

L'oreal works. I wouldn't put lavender or other natural extracts, just use a thick moisturizer with emollients and soothing ingreidents. and try to use retinol every night after a while so your skin gets more resilent.

I have been using this for 2 years now. My skin looks nice, but I can't really tell if it does something for aging now. I am 30. I think retinol is a long-term investment. But it's a good product, it never made my skin worse for sure.

I don’t use the facial oils cause I have an oily skin but I know that the panthenol based products from pharmacy do wonders when it comes to sunburns or even after the chemical peelings :)

Hi! I shocked, this results look like Tretinoin level, It surprises me a lot! Retinol's leave your skin dry, in the begging the pimples stay worse but after "the purge time" all look so much better. One of the secret about Retinol is decover how many times you can put in your skin without burning and irritations. When you feel this just stop, treat your skin and start again. Your skin look great!

I’m using this serum .. it’s really works.. but very strong on my sensitive skin.. so I apply hyaluranic acid serum under my retinol serum then adding rich moisturizer on it… it is much better than just using the retinol itself..

25 is quite normal but I’ve also seen some websites (including L’Oréal’s) say that you can start using it in your 20s in general since people start showing signs of aging at different times. This specific retinol is pretty strong though so if you’re not sure about it there are plenty of other less concentrated retinol products on the market to start with✌🏼

My skin is sensitive too and I did burn my skin many times with this retinol, it took Iike a month for me to get the hang of it. It’s still a bit too strong for me so I mix a small amount with my moisturizer instead of applying the product on the skin on its own every other day now. Definitely start small and only once a week when you first start using it. Hope this helps!😊

You don't need to. But for some, retinol can be drying. Try out what works for you, some like to put on a moisturizer before or after retinol, some just like to use it alone. If you have sensitive skin, then I would suggest using a moisturizer. Make sure you use a simple moisturizer with no irritating ingredients :)

PrettyFlyForAWIFI wrote a good answer to this and I agree. For me personally I have to use a moisturizer, I have normal to dry sensitive skin and this retinol is also quite strong. Now that my skin is used to the retinol it doesn’t really dry it out anymore but I still use a light moisturizer. In the beginning when I just started using it my skin got super dry and I had to use moisturizer and facial oil! 👍🏼
