I have a subscriber who was stationed at the old Subic Bay Navel Base. I was given a flash drive with over 1,500 photos dating back as far as 1945 - 1991. I wanted to share these photos with the world. To me this is history of not only the Philippines but also U.S.A. military involvement here in The Philippines.

Gemma's sister had 3 bars in Subic back in the seventies..Her sister has been in the states now since 1982 .. Gemma was in Subic for 2 years when she was 16 to 18 then she came back to Manila..

Was stationed on the USS MIDWAY (CV-41) out of Yokosuka, Japan on my first ship. First visit to PI was May, 1976.

My brother in law traffic controller in USS Sterett escorting Midway I believe 80's-90's? Station Philippines/honkong/Japan/ evacuate to Hawaii last trip after Pinatubo then my sister and her husband retire in Pensacola Fl.
