I think the last episode where greg has to capture the sun in a teecup and find a golden comb are great examples of imposible quests that a fey might ask of the party

I have always thought The Beast is basically a sort of lich and was going to comment that but you brought it up. I love the Night Hag idea even more though. Also if you make the BBEG a hag then you have a coven of them which is now lost. Auntie Whispers used to be a member but left and is now taking care of a victim in the only quite twisted way she knows how, The Witch of the Woods is now weak and alone after the coven broke up so is trying to collect children of her own but when she turns them to animals they run away but they are taken in by the school who give them education as a defence against losing hope and The Beast who is burning the candle (or in this case lantern) at both ends in order to try and escape where they are suck. Maybe after a ritual failed when Whispers turn against her or something.

I've been thinking recently about trying to DM a campaign again and I'm really excited to try something like this out. I just finished reading The Pumpkin Queen as well, so the holiday realms could be an interesting way to go too. Loved this video so much!

The way I’m translating Enoch is a simple cat who stole one of my characters cursed amulet which gives the cat the ability to control non living objects like a big pumpkin

oh, yes, im snagging up some of these ideas in my web. I already have a location that is a giant forest that constantly shifts between being like the faywild and being the shadow fell. so this is good. I now have ideas for the ferry man of the forest river.
