Very nice collection of gadgets! Great that you got the Master System adapter to work. I also played POP on PC so yea that really looks nice on Master System... an underrated system IMO. Cheers!

I am looking forward to spending some time on it! Funnily enough, I don't really recall getting anywhere on the PC version. I spent way too much time with Carrier Command, that was ok in CGA!

@@backofficeshow yea, I do recall Carrier Comand (slightly) but POP was one I played for many many hours (but never completed). Ah, the good ol' days of PC games!

@@arcadesunday4592 Do you remember a platform puzzle game where you played an ant and had to push dominoes over? I wasted too much time on that one as well! These are pre-CD games. Then it all changed!

@@backofficeshow unfortunately I don't remember that one (with the ants and dominoes) but I agree with the "before CD" thing... I started with early DOS games... having to use CGA TSRs like "phix" or "klutz" to get games working (on 128kb Hercules VGA cards!!). Games like Rockford, the Sierra "quest" type games, Lemmings, Commander Keen, F14 Tomcat, Thexder, GODS, Wizzball... well, the list goes on. And on. And on... Great days!

Great that you got the Gear Master working at the end of the video. I have one of these and I’m fairly sure it sits flush with the console when inserted. Watching your video it looks like it isn’t quite fully seated in the console. May be worth checking if anything is obstructing the adaptor when inserted (especially if you have modded the system) Believe it screws into place using the same screw on the back of the console that was also used for the magnifying screens and the stand/cover etc so that should all line up too. Either way it looks like you got it working. Love the Master System and Game Gear - especially the games specifically developed for them. Great video by the way :)

I am not sure if it is an aftermarket adaptor, but I can push it down until the screws align. Still, probably just dirty contacts! I'm so happy the screen is high res and displays master system games in their resolution. I was using it yesterday to play the star wars game and marvelling. At that side, in crisp colour you could easily forget it was not a mega drive title

@@backofficeshow Glad you got it working. It is a vital bit of a kit for a Game Gear as it opens up the entire Master System library. You'll love the Super GameBoy - I still use mine loads. I love the look of games through it. Have quite a few games shown through it on my channel. Don't forget that some Super GameBoy enhanced games not only have custom borders but can allow multi player or better sounds (Small soldiers, Animaniacs, EA sports games, Disney games etc) or even the SNES game - Space Invaders for example. Also if you press the L & R buttons you can change the borders, draw your own border & tweak the palette etc Great fun!

Can use pi Pico to do reading/writing to 360 if you've got one around. Don't need mod chip just resistor and diode🤔 However Mr Mario says better use mod chip. His guides pretty comprehensive. Keep meaning to try myself.

In the video this is a Coolrunner chip. I did not have success with it, but PicoFlasher did work. TheWeekendModder has a nice tutorial on how to use a Pico for RGH3.
